Do others get embarrassed in front of their other half when you want to put a nappie on and to embarrassed to say you want to put a nappie on or have got a nappie / diaper on
Don't have any other halves now. Incontinence and diapers made all 3 of them come up with excuses to leave/blame me. So, nope! Only the dogs to worry about now! They don't really care hah 😎

The purpose of load shedding is to deliberately "shed" load to stop the entire power grid collapsing. It's a desperate measure driven by the brutal reality that there may not be enough power available to re-start a de-energised power grid in the eventuality of uncontrolled outages. Load shedding is the lesser evil.
I was listening to a BBC podcast about this very topic (the near collapse of the South African power grid) earlier this week. It was a bleak story of systemic incompetence, corruption and even sabotage within Eskom, the Government and associated contractors. It's hard to see an end to it in what is starting to look like a "failed state". I wish you the best.
This is exactly why I question any of our leaders in power any chance I can. Your power providers ask for a rate increase because they had to buy (import) power. To provide for last year and yet We aren't even a 32nd of the way converted over to electric..

I'm usually a nervous wreck when the thought of wearing comes to mind. I personally want to just be okay to wear and enjoy the comfort they give me. Any one have any advice to help me with this
Unless you have an open unlocked door policy, (aka friends or family drop in unannounced and walk in) there is no reason to be nervous, Slowly, over time push your boundries. I started out just in my little 8x12bdrm, Then a bit further, the park etc. go get gas, groceries etc. I aged a bit and with it my health changed, which definitely helped change my perspective from worried to "I gotta get this done and no one cares, put it on and get on with life."
There is lots to be scared of out there, like dropping your phone, getting accosted at your local grab n go, but wearing a diaper is not a reason to be scared. I will echo and repeat a sentiment that is common on here and many other forums. "**- People are too absorbed in their phones and their own crap to be worried about the crap you got strapped around your waist, unless you make a huge issue about it.**-"

So if your carefull you can keep running 10 hours a day 7 days a week. If you run out of hours, you can take a 34 hour reset, and reset your clock. Its also posable that the laws have changed sense I was driving.
The problem then becomes what you actualy get paid for. Most companys only pay for miles driven, and thats it. Wich means that you don't get paid for all the time you spend sitting at a shipper, or recever. Getting loaded, all that. Never mind you don't get paid for the time you spend doing the paperwork, you don't get paid for inspection, or anything else. Just miles covered. Thus what a lot of drivers are forced to do is to fudge there books so they can keep moving so they can make enough money to live. Seriously, 12 hours to park your ass in a dock to get unloaded, with the shipper requireing that the driver sit there and watch. Company counts that as a 10 hour break, wich means far as they are concerned you have a full 14 ahead of you, never mind you been awake 20 hours. A big part of why I stoped driving. I loved going all over the country. Just did not like being forced to break the law constantly.
This, This is exactly why my dad stopped hauling super b for the grain farmers. He would work more hours than legally allowed, over limit for weight restrictions, and get yelled at because the elevator took 4hrs to fix an auger..

I used to grow and produce food for the world as a farm-hand. Now, however, I make parts and accessories for the very machines I used to run, as a CNC Plasma Operator.

betterdry L10 once again and as always. They are the most cost effective with the best fit and features for me...

Attends 6 tape circa 1992 or 94' G-grandfather was in the final throes of old timers and dementia at the ripe young age of 92, the man never forgot the animals or how to run any of the farm machinery, but alas he forgot about the toilet. Cue 5-7yr old me being absolutely mesmerized by these "larger seemingly child, not baby sized diapers" Well as ashamed as I am now, My younger self took one of ggrandfathers diapers, and did my best attempt to tape it onto my small frame, nearly got caught putting this thing on by a nosy cousin..

Rain and snow here for the next 3-5days. In my usual, a VERY wet Betterdry with a pampers size 6 stuffer. Some urine yellow colored plastic pants and a plain jane black onesie to top it all off. I see a brewski or a few and probably more changes in my very near future.
-
Another vote for Betterdry here, they appear bulky but in reality they can be managed quite easily, I even buy and use baby diapers as boosters. Betterdry with a booster has become my 24/7 go to. Abena used to do the job, but quality and reliability all around including the outer shell has diminished in the last 10 or so years. I'm routinely stuck away from services and home (aka easy changes) for a minimum of 14 hours a day. So a couple Betterdry and some boosters (aka baby diapers) with plastic pants and a onesie has become the norm.
Since you mentioned you are female earlier, that helps as skirts can hide "Almost" any sort of under garment. A onesie as well as plastic pants cut down on noise and outward appearance, Heck! even a leotard helps. I myself used to use bike shorts and compression pants, but a onesie and plastic pants are way more comfortable.
Your nerves may make temperature feel unbearable at first, but remember. Your body WILL adjust to the additional heat and garments given time, if you stick with it.
I do not use internal deodorizers myself as I still have a reasonable amount of bowel control, and change immediately if and when a bowel mishap happens, but look into internal deodorizers, nullo seems to come highly recommended.
@mainer_daddy
Just need to look my direction to find a guy on a farming/ag repair, maintenance landscape wearing a diaper. 16 years of 17hr days 6-7days a wk 6mos out of the year, equipment operator on a 120k acre organic seed farm this season and maybe for the foreseeable future, only time will tell ?- 1

Currently playing the irl version till late oct, Along with the sim version Ps4. However this season the irl version happened to place me 5hrs from my home (not so much fun), it is harsh work at times and crazy long hours, but I've been doing this many years now so, quite used to it.

Typically BetterdryL10, some cheapo plastic pants, and a milk silk onesie from LKB

Just a plain old Betterydry L10. Not much to describe about this baby, it's absorbing. it's yellow, it's warm and comfy!

Is this cut to fit? do I need to do any alterations? I have a queen size atm. I've been watching babykins for years on this product. I have trashed several mattresses due to bedwetting, using what was supposed to be "water proof" fabric. Some experience and practice has resulted in my most recent mattress lasting 3years before the pillow top started to seperate (leaks haven't been a huge issue since 2004 when I got smarter! ? ) However I can't warranty the current matt due to "stains" from seepage/leakage through the topsheet over the years. I am certainly willing to learn how to seamstress this product. But I want a real world review and advice on it before I do...

The price may make most shy away from it, but I can assure as a canadian who paid over $65 for a single paci. It was totally and still is totally worth it! If you don't skimp, you will definitely be impressed!

Incontinent now, So I camp diapered all the time! Heck quite a few of the fishing/hiking spots I go to are 185+ miles one way. I haven't encountered 'specific' or 'ABDL' camping gear yet, But I guess a simple but not well known hack is wool. Purchase clothing and gear that is wool based. (Merino,Cashmere, whatever, wool is wool!) The reason being - Is wool will hold heat even when wet/damp. If non-ic and camping in colder weather, watch your fluid intake and dispersion!! (and really, plastic pants to be safe!!) If truly IC, plastic pants no matter how much you love or hate them!!! They are a god send, laundering heavyweight gear sucks!

The sound of "pressurized running water!" and change in temperature from hot to cold seem to really exacerbate the urge. Naturally flowing water (tested at various fishing/camping locations) does not seem to have the same obvious effect though... ?

Betterdry, Forsite, Abena, or if everything is angry and red, molicare seems to fair the best against breakdown due to creams. Albeit a definite capacity sacrifice.

Interesting! Though their diapers are very thin and will only hold half a wetting if that. If they would go and make a thicker diaper maybe the ABDL community will start to use them.
When my bladder got a bit larger and, I got a bit older (fatter ? ) in my "tweens" Mom moved me from what I can only assume was goodnites, or some other off-brand of them. To Tranquility ATN's. They worked ok, until I stopped growing but my bladder didn't. It's really a shame as I do have some fond memories of the ATNs, but until capacity at least reaches and exceeds Abena's ISO rating. I will be sticking with my current regime.

Would you say the same if the surgery was free?
Just sounds like something Americans would say, since they have to pay for surgery..I have 99% of most procedures covered except for elective/cosmetic surgeries. After a workplace injury resulting in acl, mensus (sp?), and cartilage repair, less than 3 years later and I'm having a LOT of trouble with the repairs made by a "top surgeon" (ya right!!) in my state (province) Looking at full knee replacement now, It wasn't until after the surgery that I was "informed" that since I do NOT participate in contact sports or running, I probably didn't even need the first surgery, which now necessitates a 2nd even more major surgery with more rehab.. Definitely would be using a brace myself had I been properly informed.. So at least in my situation, the surgery was free. and I wish I HAD declined it.

Ok M4s would be great. Do you have a store specific name? The only one I found didn’t sell Abena
if you don't mind swinging out of your way to saskatoon, Carnegie medical has Molicare and Abena in stock in a B&M store so you can pay and play right away!

I absolutely love coffee yum yum! But; Combine coffee with the 2x prescription diuretics I am currently on and that is a recipe for disaster, resulting in very large voids every 6-10 mins for 4-6hrs till the diuretics seem to ease off my poor kidneys and bladder
What diaper are you wearing now?

Incontrol essential. Scooped them up on a final clearance sale. So far very usable. Scent control took a day or so to get used to, but now it's quite comforting and welcoming..
