Rockin a Critter Caboose which is quickly reaching it's max capacity. Love these diapers.

The Incontrol Original perplexes me - I've owned some before, but I never really figured out where they fit in the Rearz/Incontrol pantheon. They were kind of a cheap, bulky diaper, with not-bad capacity, but they're rated at the same ISO capacity as the Essentials - about 4300 ML, except they feel a lot bigger.
It has been my experience that the Original seems to have more capacity than the Essentials. I have both in my collection and that's the impression I have. I can only manage about 3 heavy wettings in an Essential whereas I can manage 5 or so heavy wettings before I have to worry about leaks in the Original.
I'm not a fan of Hook and Loop fasteners so the Night version of the Bedry's is out. I guess I'm going to have to try the regular version to see how it performs and hopefully its a worthy successor of the Originals.

It seems as though InControl has discontinued some of their diapers. The black Premium Nights, Essentials, and Originals are all being discontinued in favour of the new BeDry brand. That's too bad as I use both the Essentials and the Originals quite a bit.
I guess I need to try the BeDry equivalents to see how they stack up....or soak up compared to the Essentials and Originals.

I gave up baby diapers long ago. I realise that there are folks looking for upscaled Pampers or Huggies but I love most of the adult offerings that we have today. I think cloth backed diapers are just terrible and wouldn't be caught dead in one.
That said...my favorite diaper will always be a plain white plastic backed diaper. If you are looking for nostalgia then you really can't beat that. Plain white, nice and thick and crinkly. Absolute heaven.

Oooo. I'm in for a real treat. I'm in a Rearz Daydreamer diaper right now. Just put it on. Looking forward to putting it through it's paces.

There is a brand out there called 'InControl'. They have a set of numbers along the front tape panel to help folks get their tapes just right. I use them a lot these days and really appreciate having this panel there.

They have the best training pants for sure, when you need a diaper break.
A diaper BREAK???? Whatchoo talkin 'bout Willis??

I could never get away with wearing just a disposable diaper when I was a heavy bedwetter. I always needed to wear a pair of terry cloth lined plastic pants for backup.

Back issues are the worst. I have been dealing with a problem for about 20 years now. It comes and goes but when its bad...its really bad. Can't walk...need to use a walker....wife helps me to the washroom bad....
What I wouldn't give for a back pain cure....

My diapers are kinda stashed all over the house. My main collection is in a closet in the basement but I've got some in some cupboards and drawers down there too. I also keep some open bags of diapers I use all the time stashed in my bedside table.

I really like candies called 'runts' and another one called 'gobstoppers'. My favorite chocolate bar is Caramilks.

I live in an HOA community, and fortunately, we have adults with a sense of perspective running the HOA. There are few things that they enforce but mostly dealing with the aesthetics of fences. I replaced my fence two years ago and had to submit the plans for their approval. If they didn't get back to me in 14 days, it was considered approved. The HOA president sent me the list of fence rules (no chain link, no higher than 6 feet, must have a gap between pickets, etc.). I was replacing the old fence with an identical fence. No big deal.
I have heard of nightmare HOAs that require that you get approval for paint color on houses, and anything else in the yard. It's ridiculous what some people think they have a right to dictate.
No chain link? Man...we have a chain link fence and it has been the best money I've ever spent on a house. Ours has been completely maintenance free for many years now.

Pull ups are not diapers and shouldn't be used as such. A diaper...IMO...is designed to contain a complete high volume bladder voiding. Hopefully it is designed in such a way that it can contain multiple full bladder voiding. A pull up is for minor bladder leakage at best. Sure....some of them can contain a full bladder but I've only managed to do that if I pee into it slowly. They are definitely a 'one and done' type deal.

I'm in an Incontrol Original diaper right now. It's pretty wet so I might have to change soon.
-
My parents had no issues with me wearing diapers due to bedwetting problems. I'm sure it was because my mom didn't want to deal with wet sheets. And really...I can't blame her.
I can see how a bedwetting alarm would be quite invasive for most kids....however I can imagine a scenario where kinky adults might like to incorporate it into their ABDL play.

I definitely look to buy diapers when they are on sale rather than paying full price these days. I just got 2 cases of Incontrol Originals when they were on sale last week. 96 diapers for 180 bucks. Not the best deal but I'll take it. It's less than 2 bucks a diaper....which is OK I guess.
I really haven't cut back on wearing though. I'll wear when I go to run errands or whenever the mood strikes.

But I think that several manufacturers will move more towards cloth back in the future. Hopefully they get it right and continue to serve an ever expanding client base.
I do hope you're wrong. I absolutely despise cloth backed diapers. I'm hoping manufacturers go the opposite way and re-introduce higher quality plastic backed diapers. I know that's not the way the world is headed but a guy can dream....

I'll have to look...but I'm pretty sure I still have one or two bambino Teddies in my stash somewhere. IIRC I liked them a lot but I guess all good things must come to an end....

One big benefit about being in diapers...especially if you're travelling through cities is not having to find a toilet if you are stuck in traffic. If you drive an SUV with fold down back seats you can even change your diapers in relative privacy if you need to.

Good ol reliable Abena L4. It's taken quite a bit of abuse though so I'm probably going to change....in a bit...might wait and see 😁

Intelligence / stupidity as well as many traits, are inherited.
I don't think they're inherited. I think they are taught. I like to think that most people who see boorish behaviour have enough sense to not partake in it themselves.....although current times have certainly made me rethink that idea.

It really sucks when a brand you depend on goes downhill. I can still remember when Attends were decent diapers and could hold more than a couple of ounces. We do have very high quality diapers but I just noticed a case of MegaMax diapers here in Canada is pushing 200 dollars. I love Rearz but I can only really justify buying them when they go on sale.
I can understand why incontinent folks on fixed incomes become homebodies. If all you can afford are the cheaper brands then it's not worth the risk of a major leak when you're out running errands.
