  1. I miss you! Can't wait to welcome you home with a Secure X Plus (and me, I'm probably worth coming home to as well....)
  2. Kickass for me as well. I wanted to wear for Iron Man 2, but we were in a hurry to get to the theater.
  3. We are 45 minutes north of Nashville, and it flooded here as well, though not nearly as bad. Our side of town is dry, but it will be a lot of cleanup down by the river. A lot of local business is on the riverfront and it sounds like many of them could be destroyed. Very sad situation overall.

    Floods?

Anyone affected by the flooding in TN? I hope everyone is safe and dry and not just in the pants.
  5. I used to dream about diapers fairly often before I started wearing them again. My brain was entertaining itself, and I didn't mind.
  6. Diaper and a pajama shirt or sometimes a tank top. I have Tinkerbell, sock monkey, and Hello Kitty pjs (and a few others I can't currently remember) to help me get in the bedtime mood.
  7. Just got back from seeing it, and whew.... not really what I was expecting---it was much better! Loved it.
  8. Congratulations to both of you!
  9. Ahh, this sweet old fantasy....can't seem to squash this one no matter how many replies to the negative pop up on various sites. I was in several wedding shops looking for my wedding dress and they definitely didn't carry "bridal diapers." I didn't even wear to my own wedding because as a bride, you're not really getting dressed privately. I had my sister, my mom, the photographer, my future sister-in law and who knows who else in the hotel room with me as I was putting on my gown. They all had ample time to analyze my underpants (if they so wished) and I wasn't in the mood to out myself as a diaper-wearer on such an important day...there's enough drama at the average wedding without that. Peeing was definitely a two person job that day. I had on a long dress with heavy beading and a short train, so when I needed to use the restroom during the reception I had to have my sister go with me and hold up my dress. When the reception was over I had to go again and it was a frantic rush for my husband and I to get back to the room to release me from the gown. I did wear a diaper later on my wedding night when the "fun times" started up, but that wasn't exactly a surprise.
  10. I know, and I am less 'irritated' this morning about receiving a forwarded copy of a retraction (not the retraction posted below on ADISC either). I shouldn't have any higher customer service standards for a small diaper company than someone like say, Molicare. I should expect less in fact, since ABUniverse is pretty much run on a shoestring. I'll forgive them for doing what they had to do. In fact, I've decided to stop caring altogether, since I doubt I'll be buying from them again anyway.
  11. Less than 5 minutes after I sent my note expressing concerns I received a copy of the retraction email. Woo. I really feel like they took my concerns seriously... /sarcasm I think this will prove to be a PR nightmare of sorts for them.
  12. I'm emailing ABuniverse as well to let them know that we will not be purchasing from them until this is resolved.
  13. Bedwetting sucked when I was growing up. Diapers were not an option, but I have no idea why not. It's not like denying them made me stop wetting the bed any sooner. I had a plastic sheet, and after a certain age (maybe 8-9) it was my responsibility to strip the sheets in the morning and drop all wet things in the washing machine. We did not talk about the accidents. If I ever have kids and they inherit the bedwetting I will handle it differently. My parents never shamed me for it, but we could have all been a lot more comfortable and had less stressful mornings if diapers were used.
  14. A pullup and a navy long-sleeved tshirt.
  15. I've paid for the odd paysite, here and there. I've never kept a subscription for more than a month and I've never gotten one from the same paysite twice. It was back a few years ago when I was still figuring things out, but now it doesn't appeal to me as much.
  16. I recommend Reese's peanut butter cups and Junior Mints. I love chocolate + something more than chocolate alone though. :0
  17. Take a break, fine. Bitterness is less attractive than an odd sexual fetish.
  18. In our house we often refer to them as "pants." Also, "night pants" and "happy pants."
  19. New Year's plans fell through, so we just went out for dinner and coffee and are now in to spend the rest of the night snuggling, crinkly and just happy to be together. 2009 has been so much better than most of 2008, so no complaints from me.
  20. We didn't give each other really "little" presents this year. Hubby gave me a My little Pony very similar to my favorite as a little girl, which will sit on my desk. I also got some Disney Princess notebooks and cards and a new outfit for my teddy bear. He didn't get anything at all "little" unless you count the Xbox...
  21. I probably have undiagnosed/untreated overactive bladder, cause I'm lucky to make it an hour during the day and I wet the bed.
  22. I don't think they've gone away, or at least we've ordered from them very recently and received our goods (Secure XPlus). Have you tried calling them? I know it might be a bit more embarrassing but we've dealt with them over the phone and they're quite nice.
  23. I do, but not because I have my period exactly... More like if I want to wear a diaper I don't let having my period stop me from doing it.
  24. It could also be that you already do a terrific job of changing her, but she's never bothered to tell you that. The change might not be the central event for her--maybe it's more about the overall experience and how it makes her feel safe and secure.
