  1. I have to disagree with the comment that urine does not smell. I can smell myself after wetting and I believe others can as well. How you keep yourself clean and what you eat plays a big role - garlic, coffee, certain vegetables, vitamins influence odor. Drinking lots of water, it helps to dilute it.
  2. On changing frequency: Change when wet has different meanings under different conditions (stress and urge). What is practical for one is not for the other. Having urge (or should I say surge), I can/must change after an accident because the next accident will not be contained and may occur 10 min to 3 hr later.
  3. First, the DL and AB-ites have very insightful comments and suggestions. Though I would say that being incontinent is a level of worry beyond times N more that just an outing. I know that this is recognized and reflected in many comments. I’m not denigrating anyone; it is just a gap in reality that’s all. The talk of wearing 24/7 is not just physically tiring; it’s emotionally wearing (pun injected here). Keeping a positive outlook is a must, but very hard at times. It is not so easy to say “who cares what people think
  4. Since this is the thread on the Holy Grail, one cannot resist to ask - "What is your favorite color?" Blue…Pink…wait….ahhhhh Joking aside and from a point of view where practical aspects a.k.a. social continence is "the defining factor" in what to wear. I look to: 1. Discrete – no puff bottom, waddling, or crinkling effects 2. Absorbency – Seeking the 80% solution where a product will contain 80% of accidents 3. Ease of changing – disrobing is not fun in a small stall with “I don’t want to know what I’m stepping in
