Have a sense of humor about it, and don't worry about appearances. Fetishes are funny - they're sexual attraction to "non-sexual" items - there is something inherently humourous about it. But you never need to worry about looking stupid in an AB scene. The most important part of a relationship is communication - being able to tell each other what you want and need. This applies both to the whole picture, as well as to the diaper side.
