  1. I was reading Isabella and other's suggestions about ideas for a recognition symbol for the AB/DL community but the more I think about it, the more I agree with Babydoc and others who have suggested that we adopt the safety pin as our recognition symbol.

See, the marvelous thing about the safety pin is its simplicity. Not to discredit the hard work that Isabella and others put into their logos (such as the heart logo) but I don't feel those logos represent me, nor would I feel comfortable putting one on my key chain or a bumper sticker.

  2. I was wondering if any of you wear plastic pants over your disposable diapers and what the benefits/drawbacks are?

I always wear a plastic pant or diaper cover over disposables. Reasons:

    1) Extra protection

    2) Fun colors and prints

    3) Reduces crinkling sounds

    4) Keeps diaper from sagging

    5) Helps keep tapes from coming loose

  3. Home Delivery Incontinent Supplies Co. acquired Mail Order Medical Supply Inc. from Shield Healthcare, HDIS said yesterday.

HDIS, Olivette, MO, is a privately held direct-to-consumer supplier of bladder control products while MOMS delivers a broad range of healthcare products, including mobility and incontinence products, directly to consumers.

"Joining the MOMS catalog with HDIS allows us to achieve two of our primary strategic objectives: First, building our core incontinence business by bringing together key channel leaders, and, second, adding new product lines in senior healthcare," HDIS president Bruce Grench said.

HDIS and MOMS also plan to leverage their common competencies in database marketing and customer relationships over a broad array of products.

Cost of the acquisition was unavailable.

  4. looks like a bit of debate is brewing in the comment section.

Little debate, not much. I still say that for me it has been impossible to find volunteers willing to guarantee time in the chat room (and that I can trust not to abuse the admin power) to cover it 24 hours a day. Ans since the internet is a worldwide platform I don't want to close the room when my mods can't be in there as people in other time zones wouldn't have access during normal hours for them.

I don't think there are any major problems in the chat right now, just a few people who like to push buttons, and a few people who can't force themselves to ignore someone who is pushing buttons. I have banned a few, but who got banned and why just isn't something I advertise so only I know what IP's and what users have been blocked.

  5. Bartenders to ring in New Year in diapers

    Dec. 28, 2005 12:00 AM

If the bartenders at Eli's American Grille in Scottsdale are too busy on New Year's Eve to take potty breaks, they won't have to worry. They will be wearing diapers.

The four lead bartenders, including brothers Tony and Greg Elias, who also own the restaurant, will dress up as New Year's babies, complete with diapers and tuxedo jackets, but no shirts. They've been doing it for the past 28 years.

"We've had so much fun with it," Greg Elias said. "The regulars are used to it, but the tourists come in and they look at the bar and say, 'Oh, my God.' "

But by the end of the evening, there are always people who want to put on diapers. "There's a fun animal inside everyone dying to get out," Elias said. "It's all in good fun. It isn't lewd or anything."

  7. i thought that was already inplace as of a few weeks ago. if so then what else has changed?

i obviously go into chat a lot.

and dailydi, i was going to put this in the "closed chat" thread but it got deleted.

you could have told him that in the first place and not delete his two posts. the first one maybe but the second didnt even have any links and had, to his knowledge, useful information. i like these boards and i would like to see it become more popular, your not going to keep people around if you delete their posts. sure if someone is going to spam and/or advertise then action should be taken.

oh shit i just told off the site admin!

    *hides in corner*

The old version of the software didn't work right, this one appears too.

I sent Phet a PM with the reason for deleting his post.

  8. So, it seems as though the operators of this site are using a fake domain in thier suport e-mail adress... Yah000.com is used by spammers, and hackers as a cover id, a ski-mask for thier digital crimes, and low and behold, it is the same service provider that DailyDi uses for his/her email support adress...Is the site recieving a great deal of complaint mail, or what?
  9. I am against the idea of .xxx domains as I fear it would make it to easy for ISP's to censor what their members can see by simply blocking any site on a .xxx domain. Also, forcing all adult sites into one TLD will create a bidding war when owners of say sex.com sex.net and sex.org have to fight to get the one sex.xxx domain.
