Beth pulled into the driveway of the suburban street that she saw earlier from the passenger seat of her old friends car. The porch lights were on and she was sure this was the place. She turned to look at Valerie, still knocked out from the drive there. Breathing a sigh of defeat, she opened her door and stepped towards the house, leaving Valerie in the car. She knocked, and within seconds the door sprung open. Both of Valeire's parents stared waiting for this girl whom they didn't know to say something. "Uhh...Mr and Miss Thorton?"

Why? There are already a load of "munches" and other community events that go on which seem to satisfy the meet-up needs of the community, and aren't we really too small a niche for a convention?
