This is the view of our emergency escape deck on July 10th 2023. Deck is used for emergency egress in the event of a fire or some other type of emergency when we need to be able to get out of the building but we need to wait for firefighters or rescue personnel so that's why they built the deck. As you can see there is a lot of water that you can see facing the L Brown building across the street, which is Jefferson St. The big white building to the right is called Jefferson Apartments, and as you can see water has come up to the foundation of that building, and they were also telling us that they may have to cut power to our buildings last night. Know if they actually did, but when I got up this morning all of our power was still on, My Internet was on, and the only time I think I lost power was once They told us that they would have to cut the power because they were thinking that water had gotten Into our electrical panel, but I'm not sure exactly what happened, but I'm glad that the water was behind me and not in my parking lot so I had to worry about being evacuated. I am OK, but I now understand and I've always understood that water can do more damage than anything else, luckily we didn't have high winds and other types of damaging phenomenon to deal with as well.
