~Brian~

Here I am in my NEW 2021 Ki Mobility Catalyst 5 Wheelchair, as I came home.  The ATP Technician had to tighten the casters a little, and than we were set.  As he was leaving, I had him snap a picture in my new Ride.  This chair has a SOLID back rest, and accommodates  a headrest,  and almost everything else on the chair is stock, or matches the 2014 model.  I did that, because there are instances where I may have to change/exchange parts.  Also, if I need to, I can easily change tires or chairs in seconds, and also batteries if needed.  All my tires are either 24" stock spoke wheels, or Alber E-motion  M-15 Power Assist Wheels.  The M-15's are primary, so she always has these, unless we need to take it somewhere, and we need to change to manual wheels.

This photo does NOT show my headrest yet, because that was not delivered, but I was told that it was left behind:  So, hopefully, soon we will have that piece as well.  I also requested a mount for my Emotion Power Assist Wheel Control Pendant, because I really should be able to ride with those controls with me, and 99% of the time, I am unable to have the controls with me, because the control isn't something I take with me every day.  Additionally, the controls have a few features I want on my drive side.  LCD Battery condition, Gear, safety lockout, so that my gear does NOT change without knowing it, and E-Motion HoldBack - which is an assist for when you are going up a hill and need to do it safely - It will NOT allow you to go backwards on a hill when you are trying to climb - The wheels stop and HOLD you where you are if you have to release the wheels on an incline when engaged.  It holds you for a limited time, but at least I have the help if i need it!

I also asked for the longer swing away arms, so I can reach the chair and pull myself back when transferring:  These will also be investigated, and the good thing is, that I can use the arms from the backup if I want or need them, until we add the longer ones to the '21 chair!

I send a shoutout to @Evelyn Dellcerro - because I sent her a picture of my new ride, and she added the caption -  Thank YOU!   She is AWESOME, and I feel so good now, because its been a LONG time, since I was able to sit in my chair without searing PAIN or feeling uncomfortable.

This chair is also the same color of my parents 2018 Harley Davidson Triglide, and I did that because I wanted my ride to match.  She may not be a Harley Davidson, but sitting in her reminds me of riding with my stepdad, because the backrest is SOLID, and there are parts that are adjustable that can make it feel similar.  Now, since i have my Motorcycle Gear, (Minus the helmet for obvious reasons), I can put my Harley Jacket on, and match the Cycle, or my Chair - She is my "baby" and I'm gonna take care of her, and she is Pretty - when I sit in her, I feel like she is giving me a HUG - as the back is contoured and set to help my posture.

As the Photo Says ~Brian~ - Born to Be Wild! :)

Hell, I am a "Harley Rebel". ----VARRRRRRRROOOOM!!  - Lets RIDE :D
