Be aware that the former Jetsonic employees are rumored to be selling off the undelivered products from the factory. That includes the Puffy Paws huskies that never got delivered. If you see them up for sale (most probably on Alibaba), consider the source and that they are likely stolen property.

Got a twitter notification from Puffy paws. They posted a letter regarding recent preorders. The manufacturer they were dealing with - Jetsonic - went bankrupt with basically no notice, got evicted from their factory, and split with customer money. Oh yeah no doubt but they seem to be the one everyone is going to. I don’t know if Creature factory would run other people’s designs but Cerisey is the cutest toy I own and wetnose is great and the owner is super nice and chil!

Excellent info! I actually do know of all of them but I’ve heard things about PP that would not make me want to go to them. Also the relationship between them, jets and jet’s factory changed so now PP uses a different manufacturer and jet creations separated from their factory if I’m recalling all of it right. I’ve also heard things about horseplay that I don’t know if it’s true and I don’t really shop there because i find their toys bland Phenod is a great guy and he was gonna run a design of mine but it hasn’t happened and I don’t want to ask as the design I want to do myself. IW is great and my most favorite toy ever is from them. I actually like how their toys are more like regular pooltoys and are more affordable and is the inspiration for my ideas to be the same. Hongyi is mostly out for the reasons you say but I’ve been tempted to take my ideas(once they are established and after they are made by another company) and have them rip them off for the heck of it. I do love their clear toys and have been thinking of something from them. one company you didn’t mention is Beile. They are new to the scene but they are the fastest growing maker for us and i actually had them make my sona to test them out but it needs a bit of a redesign. So having said all that it’s a designer and 3D modeler I struggle to find. I feel it’s easier for a designer since it can be drawn like a refsheet but not so much the 3D model but it’s also not a requirement that it’s done beforehand but I feel having it done by someone else will increase the chance of it being perfect the first time

I keep forgetting this exists too. Of all of the inflatable vendors I know of, none are actually manufacturing the toys directly. They all contract with the companies out of China. Rather hated though, but for good reason. While I do have some of their products (3 variations of their tiger), they are notorious for ripping off designs from other companies.

Hey everyone. I forgot I had a DD account and this group but I want to change that. Not much has happened with my endeavors but I’ve gained confidence to try having toys made but I don’t know where to go since you designers seem few and far between. Making a full fledged run is still intimidating as is crowd funding so that I’m not ready for that but making one so there is a kinda advertisement (and the factory has a ref) and helping people get one if they would I want one I would do that no problem. Another thing is that I have been treated poorly and flat out hated in some circles simply because I’m AB/DL and it’s something I still struggle with but the AB/DL community has been nothing but great to me and as a way to show my gratitude I want to make inflatables for them and have them design them for me too but like everything else it’s more or less an idea. Anyways I’m sorry I never turned on topics before but better late then never eh?
