Sophie ♥ Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 Sooo... come August I'm going to be full out living as a girl, school and all... There's a small issue with this. That issue being my lack of clothing. And there's an issue with that. Second issue being my lack of money. So basically, here's a shout out to all girls, sissies, boys who have sisters/wives, department store robbers, thrift store owners, and people with four year olds and shrinking machines that work in reverse. It would be most appreciated if I could have some clothes, perhaps ones you don't wear anymore, perhaps ones that don't fit, perhaps ones you saw at the store and thought "Oh Sophie would totally love that" and bought it for me, or just whatever you have lying around that you want to get rid of. They can be frilly or plain or pink or blue or yellow or big or small or socks or jackets or shirts or jeans or baby clothes or adult clothes or anything. I just need something I can wear in public, and perhaps, if I'm lucky, a few things I can wear in private. Information: -No undies please. I would feel like a creeper. This means bras and panties. Lingerie I am okay with. -I'm a 38 waist. -I'm a 13 in girl jeans. -I'm a medium in male shirts (or generic sizes). -I'm a large in girl shirts (for Hot Topic brands at least. Sometimes I'm XL at department stores.) -My chest is 42" (or shall be when I wear my bra.) -Adjustable clothes are best (draw strings, belts, so forth) or clothes meant to fit loosely as I don't need a perfect size. -Prefer no low-cut shirts, as my cleavage is a bit pathetic. I really really really really... that was 4... really really appreciate it!! Baby clothes or "little girl" style dresses or whatever are also welcome. I'd probably end up wearing little girl dresses in public actually... but I know most people don't like giving up that kind of stuff. I'm more willing to pay for baby stuff since if anyone here sells me baby stuff it'll be a lot cheaper than on a website. I am willing to pay shipping and handling if desired. After all this is a favor for me. And if someone has something I really want but doesn't just want to give it away I might buy it. Thanks so much everyone. If you want to give me pictures, just email them to littlesophiexo@aim.com Otherwise just reply here or PM me. -Sophie P.S. The topic is "some girlie stuff", not "some girlie clothes". So if you find things other than clothes: accessories, headbands, earrings, cheap jewelry (as I find it rude to take expensive things), shoes (size 12 womens, 10 mens), socks, roller skates (and yes, i am serious, i love roller skating), girlie colored or designed bedroom accessories (alarm clocks, posters, so forth), or anything AT ALL Hello Kitty, feel free to surrender them to me.
Sophie ♥ Posted January 26, 2010 Author Posted January 26, 2010 Come on, guys. Nothing? *pout* This is for a good cause!! -Sophie
PArms Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 Sophie, I find that I can fit into a 14 or 16 around the waist. So skirts are and pants fit, but dresses are too short. Mostly because of the shoulder straps being made for a smaller chest. Do you find the same thing? Or do dresses fit off the rack? What do you like to wear in your hair? Is the size 13 really a junior's size? I picked up a pair of Mary Jane style flats for myself from the Dollar Store that were size 11. I don't recall seeing a 12. They are certainly hard to come by. And if you find 12's, they're just not cute at all. Good luck in your search for girlie stuff. I'll keep my eye out for anything especially cute. Come on everyone!!!!!! She's asking nicely.
PrincessDragonette Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 Sophie first off, all the luck/blessings in the world to you! It's a rough journey but so worth it *huggles*. I don't believe I have anything in the sizes you mentioned but I'll keep my eye out when I browse Goodwill, I made a list . We wear the same size shoes so I'll deefinately keep looking there, what styles do you prefer? Flats, heels, boots? With you on the Hello Kitty so I can't surrender my small collection . Oh and what "style" do you lean towards? Hippy? Goth? Punk? Normal? "Barbie"? Sporty? Outdoorsey? Something totally cool that I don't know of?
Guest Baby-Toa Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 i might be able to get some hello kitty stuff from work . i'll see what i can find or do for you since i have the next four days off from work.
Sophie ♥ Posted January 27, 2010 Author Posted January 27, 2010 YAY! People! Replies! PArms: My figure is pretty feminine as is, and I don't particularly have dresses I got at the store but from what I got from random events in life, the shoulder straps seem to be okay. There are a few I wish I could adjust though... 13 is Juniors, I believe. I think 7 is my Womens. I haven't a clue on size charts yet... still working on it... but my underwear are a 7, my jeans are a 13. I love love love hair accessories. I don't even care what they are except for like ridiculous looking things. I always wear a bow or a barrette on my right side. That way I can pin my bangs up when I read so my hair doesn't get in my face. I like to read. Anyway, I have like 5 kinds of bows, a lot of hair ties, a few barrettes, etc. But I like Alice bands, headbands, bows, barrettes, any combination of the previously stated and so forth. Women's shoes stop at 11s in stores. I get my shoes online now, but I found a good site so its not all that bad. wellpadded: I can't walk in heels to save my life, and boots kind of disgust me. Also, no sense in making myself any taller. I love flats. I love MJ shoes. Favorite brands are Vans and Converse. But honestly I have like 2 pairs of shoes. And I need more. So I'm willing to try anything. Since I dont dress up much, I don't have a girl style yet, so I'm being open minded to any clothes. My boy style is very generic-slightly punkish clothes. But what I'm really going for is that girl style that you'd probably see at a rock concert nowadays. The normal flair jeans, generic tight t-shirts that go past the waist of my pants, layers, very basic stuff. No bright colored jeans. No ridiculous hair style. No face-mask of make-up. Very casual, rock/alternative look. I also just recently started liking Indie clothes... Toa: Where do you work that you can snatch HK stuff all the time?! Heaven? Anyway, thanks all. I'm glad people are trying to help me out. Makes me all warm inside (in a platonic way...) -Sophie
DailyDi Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 I have no girlie stuff since I am a boy and shop at the big&tall store... but would be glad to donate a gift card to your preferred store.
Guest Baby-Toa Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 hehe i work at mcd and right now we have random toys one being some hello kitty toys.
Sophie ♥ Posted January 28, 2010 Author Posted January 28, 2010 DailyDi: *uber blush* I'm flattered, but I don't want you to be sending money or nothing. I was just looking for charity. I think I'd feel bad if you got me a gift card... Plus you have enough on your plate. This site needs taking care of. That costs money, right? Toa: So, not Heaven then? lol! What kinda toys we talkin? Abrera: I misses you! And charity shops: no not really. We have thrift stores though, which is probably my next stop... More thank yous to everyone who replies and helps and donates to the Clothe Sophie Fund. -Sophie
Sophie ♥ Posted January 30, 2010 Author Posted January 30, 2010 *CRIES!* I went to a concert yesterday and everyone had very nice clothes and I didn't and I got sad... (not to seem whiny ) -Sophie
