The plastic pants from this company are the best, hands down; the plastic covered elastics are great at stopping leaks. So far I have ordered 5 pairs of the snap up variety. My only problem is that the last two pairs I ordered the snaps are a bit weak and will pop open easily. I wrote them about this and they replaced one of the pants, no questions asked.

My advice would be just to stick with the regular pull-on pants and avoid the snap-ups - when the snaps work, they are great. Otherwise they can be very frustrating.

I almost bought a pair from B4NS the other day but didn't. I know they're considered some of the best but I really did wince at the price - almost thirty bucks for a pair once you factor in the (rather high) shipping charges. When you consider that they're light and not at all bulky, $7.50 for domestic s&h is a bit of a joke IMO.

I found some much cheaper vinyl pants that appeared from the photo at least to be of ok-ish quality so I'm trying them first. I may be back to B4NS if I'm not satisfied, of course...

AuntieAB,

Yes, B4NS is relatively expensive. I have been willing to pay the price, however, because these are the first plastic pants that I can wear and know that they will contain almost ALL leaks. They really are amazing. I think it's the plastic covered elastics that help to create a seal against your skin - I've had times where I didn't realize just how much my diaper had leaked until I took the plastic pants off and saw a big puddle in them.

Also, because the elastics are plastic covered, the pants air dry very quickly as there is no material that absorbs liquid.

Hope that helps.

b4ns ROCKS. Seriously. I ordered a shipment that didnt arrive for a month. I gave them a shout and they were horrified, and re-shipped the whole order imediately. It turns out the error was in the shipping companys hands. I ended up getting a double order. I called them to let them know and the b4ns just said. "Keep 'em".

the Suprima brand are some of the best vinyl pants on the market Unfortunately they have limited distribution in the US and I think that has driven the price up.

Back about seven years there was a distributor along the east coast, Florida I believe also selling Suprima, the pricing was considerable less then. Fortunately for me I have about twenty five pairs ordered from the now closed Florida distributor.

Yep, they do appear the same. While Shop4PVC.com doesn't specifically say they're Suprima brand--which is what B4NS.com sells--they pictures are identical. I can't imagine they're not the same products.

I didn't want to start a new thread when this covers B4NS already.

Ive always had good luck with b4ns. the suprima pants are my favorite. They fit right and are avaliable in many great colors. Most other plastic pants do not fit as well as the suprimas. They are a bit on rhe expensive side, but worth every penny in my book. Once they have shipped I get my order fast. I will keep buying from them.
