Little BabyDoll Christine
I just ordered a pair of Babykins heavyweight panties to see what they are like Can anyone tell me what the lightweight material is like? Link to comment
leafgoalie
I just recieved my order from them and actually ordered the heavier weight plastic pants. I usually order the lightweight ones and they are wonderful! They last long and protect well. Over a diaper, they feel nice and free to move in. They fit well under your normal pants. I have only tried on the heavier ones once, but I really liked them a lot. They hold things together a bit more, adn you can feel them a bit more. I like that as well. Once again they do feel nice under your regular pants if you are going out. I think I'll continue to order some of each when I place my orders. Hope this helps! Link to comment
Angela Bauer
Last week I received my most recent order from the KINS division of Babykins. That shipment was 18 of the A10300V medium soft, thin vinyl pull-on pants. Since my friend Victoria left the incontinence supply business about 1995, I have worn those 10300V kins panties. They last long enough to be economic and they are comfortable. Link to comment
Little BabyDoll Christine
What is the material on the liightweight panties like? Is it smooth or grainy and how durable are they, usually lightweight panties tear after awhile Link to comment
Soggy Bottom Boy
The Kins lightweight vinyl pants are textured on the outside and smooth on the inside similar to the old Gerber vinyl pants. At least they were textured a few years ago when I last ordered them. They did not last very long but that was partly my fault as I ordered mediums and should have ordered the large size. I normally wear mediums in all Gary made plastic pants but the Kins pants ran smaller. I did like the lightweight textured vinyl as it reminded me of the plastic pants I wore as a kid. PeeDeePants
I just received my order from Kins, (my Christmas present!) and their 10300V's are textured on the outside - smooth on the inside and do very much remind me of the Gerber panties of the early 60's. The fit is closer than most other similar sized pants (not quite as full) however, work well with both cloth and occasional disposable. I have them on right now and they are very comfortable! I have not found any of the lightweight panties that hold up well over the long run however these seem to do as good as the rest. I recommend them for everyday wear and even though they are textured on the outside I can not seem to tell that they make any noise that anyone would hear anyway. I had an issue in the beginning with the leg openings tearing before the rest of the panty was near worn out and Jenny added a little room in the legs for the size I bought for $5 each and that has seemed to work well. Good luck! Link to comment
Soggy Bottom Boy
Recently received an order from Kins. I ordered both their regular 3 mil light weight plastic pants and their 6 mil "Tuffy" plastic pants. I really, really like the tuffy pants. The 6 mil vinyl is so much softer than the 7 mil vinyl used by Gary. They also have a 1" wide waist band which is very comfortable. The tuffies also have an extended waist making them perfect for night time. The side seams are heat welded and sewen just in case the heat welded seams give out. Very comfortable to wear. So far I give them a 10 out of 10. The Tuffies are most definately a quality product made for optimum protection. I'll be ordering more. Link to comment
Little BabyDoll Christine
Actually I ma disappointed. i got the Tuffy and the encased elastics in two separate orders. In both cases the material was somewhat grainy. I will domy review later weh I have time Link to comment
Soggy Bottom Boy
The Tuffy pants I received were smooth vinyl both inside and out with the inside maybe a little smoother than the outside, Link to comment
Little BabyDoll Christine
That is what I was told and why I even considered them Link to comment
