Why are certain people so heavily invested in defending the quality of a product?

The ABDL equivalent of cheering for a football team, I guess :P

Because, everyone likes to think their opinion is fact. ;) Not really everyone, just a lot of people.

Add me to the list of people who want to say to Bambino, "It's okay if your new product(s) have been delayed, we can wait, but please update us on why and perhaps give us a more realistic 'when', and thank you for what you do!"

Posted

At least somebody else said it NaughtyAshes, thanks!

They have a website where they can do it though. They could simply send a "tweet" out too. If they're so "professional" then why are they stringing everyone along about a new product that apparently is never going to happen. A professional company like the ones you wrote about wouldn't make claims and promises to their customers and then ignore them for a year by not updating their sites or informing everyone of what's going on with their earlier statements. At least those other companies are updating their sites and continually improving their products and coming out with better and more products. You're basically saying a professional company is "going to make an offictial announcement on their site(s)" but...Bambino has not say that = NOT Professional. A company that doesn't talk to their customers on a larger scale than one on one e-mail, makes promises they don't keep, doesn't improve their products, or expand their lines with soon have all their employees eating at a soup kitchen!!

S**t happens dude. Sony/Square Enix said they would release Final Fantasy XIV PC and PS3 versions side by side but the PS3 version got pushed back half a year. That is assuming they get the bugs out of it by then.

Sometimes thing happen and plans change. I admit that Bambino could give a status update on their new product but it isn't that unusual or the end of the world that their product got pushed back a while.

Look how long it took "Fan Boys" to get finished.

I agree hidden stuff happens but any decent company would at least give an explanation. Sony didn't hang you out to dry wondering what's going on. I'm sure they at least gave a couple updates on progress and gave another expect date of 6 months. This isn't that high tech of a procuct either if we're comparing the two(diaper vs. gaming system). It's a diaper, how much could there be to it if that's the new product. Not to bring ABU into the picture but as a comparison they've managed to roll out several new items over the past year which I doubt took years and years of work to get in place, no matter what you think of their products.

IDK, they have a public domain so you think they'd want to update Joe Public on what's going on through their website and not just through their e-mails.

By the way, what do their e-mails tell you anyway, we're out of stock on smalls in classico and somethings still is coming soon???:P Sorry, couldn't resist.

I'm not being unreasonable by saying, "Give us an update, it's been quite a while, I'm interested in your product and would like to know why you're not producing what you said you would".

I am a follower of the good things come to those who wait theory.

See, I believe that GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO WAIT. Instant gratification only leads to disappointment (NOT sex related).

Apple churns out product year after year, all of which suck.

The longer wyou wait, the better it comes.

I would wait 5 more years to piss myself in a new Bambino. I would totally break that Bambino's dam.

Have you ever owned an Apple product? There isn't a laptop available today that I'd own besides a Macbook Pro. My experience buying apple products over the past 10 years has been 90% positive, except for the one Macbook Pro that I bought that was a lemon, but the 6 other Apple computers, the 3 Ipods, and various other Apple products have been awesome. IMO, the people who knock Apple are the ones who've never owned them

I would have to agree that Apple puts out pretty good products...they don't make too many mistakes with their products in my opinion besides the whole IPhone 4 ordeal but they seem pretty dedicated to resolving it with the customers. Its not even that big of a deal...

Guess it is a good thing I waited! I last ordered 2 cases from them last july/august and am still using those cases. I will have to order some more by the end of the month so it works out great! I just have to get the gusto to go get another UPS box and spend the $$$ on them after paying thousands of dollars for tuiton on the 13th this month.

The new printing process and materials give the Teddy a more babyish look and feel as compared to the Bambino Classico and Bambino Bianco diapers that preceded it. New features on the diaper also include increased absorbency with the addition of more Super-Absorbent Polymers (SAP) and a brand new, completely unique taping system

INCREASED ABSORBENCY !!!!! :o:beer::thumbsup: OMG! I cant wait to order them. Are they thicker?! With more absorbency ... does that mean they will hold more than an Abena X Plus?! I think the current bambino is already very comparable to Abena ....

Oh happy day ! :whistling:

*edit .... (Im so freakin excited)

They have medium in the new Teddy diaper but no larges until end of Aug. :crybaby: So I ordered 2 med SAMPLE PACKs to try them out :screwy:

by the sounds of it, they just increased SAP 10%. which means thickness will be pretty well the same, but absorbancy will be much higher

Sure is funny how much your stated opinion sounds like a stated fact!

Actually I agree Bambinos do absorb more than Abena. I have both and have filled an Abena to leak within six hours of sleep, yesterday I wore a Bambino for more than 9 hours and didnt leak.

This is what I have been stating all along - its minimal but it is true in my opinion of using BOTH.

Actually, yeah...I agree...Bambinos are more absorbent then Abenas.

^^^^^I also agree with this statement. They are good absorbers.

Bambinos might hold more but they wick horribly. It feels like you are sitting in a wet bag full of cotton the moment you wet a Bambino.

Wellness holds more than either in my experience, wicks better than Bambino but not as well as Abena.

Molicare wicks better than anything though.

I actually believe the Abenas might hold a slight bit more, but they fact that they use more pulp rather than SAP, i find they leak alot easier while sitting than a bambino.

For arguments sake, i would personally say they are on the same level of absorbency. but the tapes of a bambino have always made them a winner for me.

I would like to wait and see how the new tapes on the teddys hold up. They do look like a great little feature!

So do Abri-Forms though. As a guy, I find it all ends up in the front and crotch. Very little wicking to the back happens in the Abena diapers (apart from overnight, obv). They also tend to clump and break up terribly, especially on extended/overnight wear or during particularly active times. I've been quite disappointed with the ability of my most recent case of M4's to asborb without saturating and leaking. They're just not as good as they used to be. I don't think I've ever had a Bambino's padding break up on me unless I've really pushed it beyond the limits.

If you took a Bambino and an Abri-Form and dunked them both in a bath of water, I'm confident that the Abena diaper would have more in it afterwards but the Bambino is the diaper I'd be more confident wearing over time or when it was going to have to take heavy wetting...

Hmm, the difference in experience can probably be chalked up to anatomy. Most of my diapers end up wet from the middle of the perineum and back. Depends on whether I am mostly sitting, lying, or standing though of course. They don't wick super well, but I really do find that they pull the moisture away from the skin. When I take off an Abena, unless I really saturated it(which I personally like to avoid as a matter of preference, super wet diapers are yucky to me) my skin is usually only a little damp. It feels like I have more 'standing water'(lol) on my skin with Bambinos though.

I always kind of wondered if it was by design that Bambinos are that way. Given that they are pushed toward a fetish market, it makes sense that they would let you feel the wetness a bit more. Purely conjecture though I'll admit.

They both weigh A TON when you do this, I'll say that much. I've put on a diaper before getting into the bathtub a couple of times just to see what would happen(hilariously enough, the pressure of the water usually causes the diaper to make a seal and it's so buoyant you have a hard time keeping your tush under the water!), and both probably weighed more than 20lb. I didn't pull out a scale and weigh them or anything, but getting them into the trashbag afterward was awkward and laden with misadventure on both occasions.

I like both Aben's X-Plus and Bambino and in my opinion they hold about the same. It really depends on how much you want to wet our diaper.
