    "Yes I am okay with nursing her, I know it's strange she is 16 but like you said she looks like a toddler and besides it's not like something I'm going to do when we're outside, she'll just get a bottle or maybe it sippy cup," Evelyn told Maggie before pulling Valeria off her breast and getting her to latch on to the other one. "And I'll admit I never got to do this when she was a real baby, so technically we're making up for lost times." Evelyn said when she looked at her baby and gently padded her bottom and bounced her just slightly.

    Evelyn just sighed and told her friend, "I have done this a few times, I know it's strange she's 16 but she looks like a toddler and practically acts like one and honestly this is the only way I could get her to eat and she needs to be a healthy weight." Evelyn gently patted her daughter's padded bottom as the little teen continued to suckle looking just like a real baby who hadn't weaned it yet.

    Maggie tried a few old tricks when she used to babysit, unfortunately they were unsuccessful due to the fact that Valeria had both the mindset of a toddler and a teenager. "here let me try." Said the familiar voice of Evelyn, Maggie looked and apologized when she saw her sleepy friend, but Evelyn just smiled and shook her head. She then gently walked over and took Valeria from her friend then she did something that Maggie was quite shocked Evelyn rolled up her shirt exposing her bare nipples and coaxing Valeria to latch on, the moment the little toddler teen latched on Evelyn closed her eyes and gently rubbed her daughter's little back as Valeria nursed from her mom.

    Even though Valeria had her hands locked in those mittens Maggie didn't think it was a good idea for her to suck on her hand, she gently pulled the little girl's mitten hand out, picked her up and took the baby bottle full of tomato soup. "Come on sweetie open up." Maggie said as she held the bottle to Maggie's lips.

    Maggie wasted no time in putting the little girl over her shoulder and gently patting her like any baby she used to babysit as a teenager even though it had been years, when the little girl had stopped coughing Maggie told her to drink more slowly before getting a spoonful of the tofu and having the little teen girl take a bite.

    Maggie got up from the armchair and gently carried the little teen down into the living room before putting her down the couch and putting on Winnie the Pooh, she then went to the kitchen to make a warm bottle of tomato soup and a small bowl of tofu, "here you go sweetie," Maggie said giving the little teen a toddler spoon for the tofu, she then sat down on the couch next to the little one watching her drink her bottle of tomato soup.

    Maggie held on to the little girl who fussed and squirmed just gently shushing her, "don't worry everything's going to be okay your mom's just lying down to take a nap, she's very exhausted." Maggie waited a few minutes for the girl to calm down before asking again if she wanted to eat something.

    Even though it had been years since Maggie had babysat she still remembered the basics, gently she picked up Valeria and bounced her a little bit and patting her back, when the girl's crying had subsided Maggie took the tired out teenager over to the armchair. First she took out the old gauze from Valeria's mouth, then got her too take her pain and antibiotic medication before having the girl rinse out her mouth and spit into a bowl. "now are you hungry because I can prepare a nice bottle of warm soup for you to drink." Maggie asked she thought it'd be good to get the little one to eat something before putting new gauze in her mouth.

    Maggie heard the sharp cry of Valeria from the baby monitor she got up and got everything she needed, a new pack of gauze, a sippy cup of warm salt water, an empty bowl for spitting in as well as the little girl's pain reliever and antibiotic medication. Maggie walked up and was about to knock on Valeria's door when she realized that the little teenager was essentially just a toddler, so she opened the door went over to the crib, "hello Valeria." Maggie said before sitting the items down on the nightstand, she then lowered the crib and told the little girl, "your mom's asleep right now, but don't worry I'm here take care of you till she awake."

    After the place was tidy Maggie took her laptop out and sat in the living room she decided to work there in case Valeria woke up from her nap.

    Evelyn gave a weary smile although she was hesitant to take a nap as her daughter could wake up and need her, but at the same time she desperately needed to take a nap so she told Maggie that if her daughter woke up and was hungry the doctor said she could only have soft foods like soups, as well as directing her to the cup where cabinet saying that there were a few sippy cups and a bottles there. She explained that Valeria wasn't steady with her hands so the sippy cups and bottles were necessary to her until her coordination improved, Maggie could even fill the bottle up with soup so Valeria could drink it, after that Evelyn went upstairs slipped into her pajamas, immediately flopped on the bed and just as immediately went to sleep.

    Evelyn smiled a tired smile at Maggie and thanked her, she told her that she'd send the medical reports over to her as well as the intelligence and school placement test results to help with the lawsuit against the orphanage as Evelyn believed that her daughter's education was severely lacking, it wasn't because of any mental handicaps, she felt that orphanage didn't really bother getting Valeria into a proper School or at the very least homeschooled her.

    Evelyn smiled when she saw her friend she thanked her before sitting down and eating the food, she looked exhausted both physically and mentally. Soon after eating she said, "it's fine." Evelyn said seeing concern in her friends eyes, "she just tired herself out from all the kicking and screaming, it's no wonder this is a huge change for her and it's going to be huge change for her having no teeth taken. But in a year or two I'm planning on getting her implants so she'll have a new set of teeth, but it is going to be difficult in the coming week as she starts to heal, I even had to lock her hands in mittens to keep her thumb out her mouth."

    Evelyn was thankful when her daughter finally went to sleep but sighed heavily seeing she was trying to put her thumb in her mouth, but it was a good thing Evelyn prepared to this. Going to draw she took out some mittens that she had custom made with little locks on it, quietly and gently she lowered the crib bars and just as quietly and gently she slipped them into over her daughter's hands keep her fingers and thumb locked witch would prevent any thumb sucking. After she then covered her baby with a soft blanket she laid her baby's head down on her pillow and gave her a few stuffed animals like her Winnie the Pooh toy, then leaned down and kissed Valeria cheek, pulled up and locked crib before going down to make herself something for lunch maybe even talk with Maggie if she was still there.

    Evelyn looked at her baby and the heartbroken that she was in such pain she gently said, "it's going to be okay this pain won't last and you'll feel way better you just need to close your eyes and rest, in fact how about I go get my iPod and I could put on some music for you." Evelyn said before she left the room telling her daughter she'd be right back, just then the doorbell rang Evelyn went down and opened the door and was greeted by Maggie she smiled at her friend and saw the bags, "thanks I can't really talk I have to get back to Valeria, she's not doing well after the operation." She told her friend to put the medicine and food in the kitchen, she then went up to her room, grabbed her iPod and came back apologizing for taking a little longer than necessary, she then put on some Mozart and sat back down holding her daughter's hand and rubbed it.

    Even when her daughter still kicked the crib bars even throwing toys some of which did accidentally hit Evelyn she didn't get upset, she just quietly rubbed her daughter's hand or arm or back just making sure to let the little teen know that she wasn't going anywhere.

    Evelyn didn't say anything, what could she say even though this was for the best to have her daughter's teeth removed that's what the dentist said as it was the most easiest solution it still hurt Evelyn to have to do that to her daughter. But when Valeria mouth healed she'd feel so much better to be able to eat food, she also planned to get her daughter implants so she's have teeth again but for now it was just one step at a time.

    Evelyn then thanks her best friend before going up to her daughter's room, she pulled the armchair over to the crib slipping a hand through the bars, she held her daughter little hand not leaving her side until she fell asleep.

    Evelyn looked at her daughter when they arrived at a stoplight, deciding that it was best to go home and called Maggie and ask her if she could go to CVS and pick up her daughter's prescription. It didn't take long before them to arrive back home Evelyn parked her car, took her daughter out, carried her into the house and then got to work. She took out the gauze, threw it away and had her little girl clean out her mouth with warm salt water before putting a fresh pair of gauze he in, after changing her diaper and getting her into PJs, Evelyn laid her baby in her crib before kissing her on the forehead and raising the crib bars, it wasn't long before Evelyn got on her phone and called Maggie asking her to pick up the antibiotics from CVS if she could.

    Evelyn got to the car she took her daughter out and put her in her car seat and gave her baby her Pooh Bear she then told her that they just had to stop at the CVS to pick up some antibiotics and then they go home.

    The doctor just let out the sigh and told Evelyn again that the surgery went well and all her daughters teeth were taken out, he then advised Evelyn that her daughter would have to avoid solid food and chewing as well as rinsing her mouth out with warm salt water. She would also be given an antibiotic to help to prevent infection, he also told her about a week or two and the stitches would dissolve and they should come back to the dentist's office to see how the mouth is healed. Evelyn thanked the doctor, signed some paperwork, picked up her little girl and put her in her stroller before taking her out of the hospital and to the car.

    Or as much crying screen the little teen could muster as she was still coming out from the anesthesia and few hours of surgery to remove all her teeth," hey sweetie I'm so glad you're okay." Evelyn said as had sat by her bedside the moment she came out of surgery, she gently pulled Valeria into a soft embrace as a doctor came in and asked her how she was feeling.

    But Evelyn wasn't letting go she held on to her daughter to make sure she didn't try to run all the while doing what she could to get Valeria to calm down, when that at last they were was called Evelyn put Valeria in her stroller and locked her in before pushing her into the doctor's office. She wasted no time in getting her daughter prepared as doctor put a little oxygen mask on the little teen before injecting her with a light sedative and putting an IV in her arm, it would not be long before the tiny teen was out like a light.

    Some people were concerned but the moment they saw toddler they ignored it considering it just to be a temper tantrum, after Valeria was signed in Evelyn pushed the stroller over to a quiet area. Immediately she took her daughter out and started to gently bounce her and pat her back telling her this was all going to be over quickly and nothing bad was going to happen, also that soon she'd be able to eat food without pain, she even gave her daughter her pacifier and her Winnie the Pooh Bear hoping that would calm her baby down by the time the nurse called her in.

    After the paperwork had been filed Evelyn told Maggie that after her daughter's teeth were taking care of and her intelligence was tested they could add it to the lawsuit against the orphanage, Maggie took notes and after that had all been said and done Evelyn and Maggie caught up on things just trivial matters about there week. (Doing a bit of a Time skip here.) It had been about four or five days since the initial adoption and the medical appointments, Evelyn had her daughter in the backseat of her car resting in her car seat as they had to wake up real early to get to the hospital that would do the teeth operation. Evelyn told Valeria she would be able to be able to eat without having to feel any pain in her mouth, when they got to the hospital Evelyn parked her car took Valeria out and put her daughter in her new stroller got, not only was it comfortable it was also Winnie the Pooh themed, she easily strolled her daughter in and went to the front desk before signing paperwork.
