I admit that I haven't read all the posts in great detail. I think the OP and others have some very valid points. On the other hand, I feel I was treated well as a baby and was never abused. My thing for diapers came on late in life and may be linked to something from childhood, though I have no idea what.

The strength of a thread like this, however, is that anyone who wants to can read the various theories and be moved to think more about their own issues, reasons, whatever. At the same time, I like Curiosity's point of view: "I don't care I like both."
