Virginity in adulthood

I am one of the unlucky ones to have passed 40 and never been with a woman. In the end it does not depend entirely on appearance, i am average, i am thin, i still have all my hair, i have no wrinkles. I have always looked younger than my age (now i look like a thirty-year-old). The main cause has always been my character too introverted, and the fact that probably for certain things they are not very mature. I have had approaches, dates, but nothing has ever come of it. Women have always been indifferent to me at best. Never found the right girl (and i am not even one who has difficult tastes or cares too much about appearance). The worst thing is that virginity, for a man, is considered a social shame. Practically it is less defamatory to have been in prison, than to be a virgin after 30. With friends or relatives i have often had to pretend to have had flirtations and relationships. I have never paid for it because i fear it, that is, finding coldness, etc. Is there anyone who lives a similar situation? How do you deal with it?
