At my family's Christmas Party

My Godson has a five month old baby. A bib bouncing baby boy. As we passed in a hallway, he fumbled with the baby's pacifier, he was not carrying the baby. He commented about having a bunch of them, and offered me that one. I declined, stating that I was trying to kick the habit, and that I had recently started smoking to help with that. He laughed at that.

 

Earlier there was a discussion about aprons, more specifically "adult aprons" as opposed to my great-niece's child sized ones. I had to concentrate on what I said, because "adult," in my mind, is always followed by "diaper." I did manage to say adult apron though.
