BaronBrook
Does anyone have any advice for letting your feelings be very Big, or out-of-control? Like expressing yourself differently, maybe more honestly when regressed? I find myself having a lot of fun with any emotion. Laughing, crying, being perplexed by something. Kind of like letting small events in a day really matter a lot? 1 Link to comment
Little Sherri
There is definitely wonder in everything, if you look for it and let yourself experience it. Being alive at all is such an infinitesimal fluke, and if you live in a place where the lights work, there's heat, you can drink the water, and the food is reliably safe to eat, you've won the lottery. Being amazed and grateful for the little things is a strategy for keeping life's challenges in perspective. McDonald's fries really are awesome. Wifi is bordering on a miracle. A tree is poetry. Cats are hilarious. Sometimes, we're so busy being big people that we forget about all the wonder that is around us, and reconnecting with our little selves can allow us to be awestruck by things that are, truly, awe-inspiring. Preferably while wearing a comfy diaper! 2 Link to comment
