Supersoft Product Research

Recommended Posts

Welcome to today's virtual tour of the secret Supersoft research labs. We know our customers love the Supersoft range of protective products but one question we keep being asked is 'How do you create such innovative designs?'

Now, as the camera takes us through one of sixteen four-crib nurseries in the lab (one of them is even sized for babies), let's see if we can answer that. Innovation is hard work, and our team of research scientists are always exploring new idea, designing new technologies and doing the exhaustive testing that assures the satisfaction of all our customers. The product testing often takes place abroad, helping enrich our International neighbours while offering rehabilitation programmes for their unfortunate prison populations. They relish a chance to perform public service and prove the safety and security of Supersoft products, something that's also created some new global markets for us; the testers frequently become some of our best repeat customers.

Here you can see some of our remarkable 3D printing machines. They're fully configurable and can print soft flexible plastics, electronics and inject chemical medicants inside the printed designs. We haven't got absorbent padding incorporated yet but a simple print, layer, print process allows premade padding to be inserted in all the right places.

Our research engineers help directly with the testing too! The lab is fitted with Supersoft Simplechange on every floor, and as a staff bonus we offer qualified care assistants to all staff that might need them. Everybody joining the lab gets a chance to experience Supersoft Fluffies first hand on their very first day working for us, and although many people prefer Supersoft Eco-Gaia or even Supersoft Velvetsafe we've been delighted that absolutely everybody has loved the products so much they've continued using them, even outside the lab.

Ah, this room contains a pre-production Supersoft Simplechange. Fully operational it merely lacks the casing on our customer products, allowing our engineers the access to further refine and develop the product. Of course everybody is welcome to use it, although engineers are asked to leave a note if new features haven't yet been fully tested.

That touches on product safety, which is of course paramount to us too. The rigorous testing assures our customers receive only the finest modern protection with no risk to them, but we also value the safety of our staff too, and take care of them when the worse happens. For example an earlier test model of Supersoft Fluffies over-stimulated the urinary reflex, resulting in what has proven to be a sadly permanent incontinence in the unfortunate lab technician testing it. We've given her a free lifetime supply of Supersoft and she continues to do exemplary work for us, for instance testing Supersoft Velvetsafe. That product's amazing attractive force even managed to stop her attacking the Supersoft Fluffies Chief Scientist when he visited her part of the lab!

This floor in the labs is our in-house data centre. Providing the heating for the whole building these computers are hard at work processing all the important telemetry captured by Supersoft products that let us monitor their success in the lab and across our whole customer base. The Fluffies Superapp provides only anonymised data that lets us understand the frequency and extent of product usage, allowing us to better meet the needs of our customers and make changes that boost Supersoft success. This is where we discovered that some customers were going several hours without a change, something we've addressed through strengthening the medicinal coating in Supersoft Fluffies, assuring the product is fully used long before a rash can form.

Not all Supersoft inventions make it to market. We'll close the tour by taking you through the in-lab museum which demonstrates early variants and the completed versions of all of our products, and highlight some of the exhibits for which development has been paused.

- Supersoft Glitterbottom, a glitter bomb suppository to make changing time sparkling fun for everybody. Uncertainty over market acceptance (following feedback from horrified carers) has deterred us from resolving outstanding issues around clumping; we do however still feel a proper spread of glitter throughout a fully utilised Supersoft padded protection product would be popular.

- Supersoft Squidgypants, a range of shorts and trousers with built-in padding that give the wearer the feeling of sitting in a wet diaper. Our carers tell us that Supersoft padded protection products look so comfortable they're always tempted to try them, but would like a more easily removable garment that lets them experience the comfort without losing continence. Our customer service team are doing a stellar job of instead encouraging carers to give the original Supersoft products a try themselves, as the authentic experience just can't be faked.

- Supersoft Strap-on, so that your partner can experience how deeply you love them without needing to remove your diapers. While demand has been high for this and related products this would detract from the Supersoft brand, so we've sold our research findings to our sister company Sexysoft.

- Supersoft Suckle, an adult alternative to a pacifier that provides mental comfort and security, available in a range of flavours. Another highly demanded product we think this is a very serviceable and comfortable offering but one that would be better suited to a less innovative brand in the market. We just haven't been able to bring the special magic that differentiates Supersoft and creates such impressive demand for our products.

- Supersoft Supersize, an astonishingly large protective garment that swells on use to gargantuan proportions. Early experiments sadly resulted in unfortunate test subjects suffering hip dislocations and other injuries from the forced spread, making this entirely inappropriate for consumer use. We have had some interesting approaches from certain foreign regimes regarding use of this as part of their crime control programmes, but we couldn't possibly allow our products to be used like that under the Supersoft branding.

- Supersoft Twinkleeyes, special spectacles that filter all but the primary colours, reducing the strain on tired eyes. Development of this product was going superbly until the marketing research pointed out that our target demographics would prefer to achieve the same outcome through consumption of tasty alcoholic beverages.

- Supersoft Stodge, a range of delicious filling foods that'll leave you satisfied and sleepy. We're still working on the unfortunate side effects, like the body eliminating the digested food while you sleep, although one of our scientists is trying to convince us that this creates excellent cross-sell opportunities. Stay in touch to see if this one reaches release status.

- Supersoft Merkinvisible, the new super absorbent diaper that when dry looks like an adult woman. Choice of Brazilian, Trimmed or Unhinged looks, and optional camel toe moulding for those daringly tight leggings. Particularly popular with trans girls, as it gives them the look they desire while avoiding awkward encounters in public restrooms. Sadly testers were horrified as their sleek adult form bulged when they wet, leaving them with obvious infantile padding that was disturbingly hairy.

- Supersoft Sorbantskirt, a padded waterproof skirt that lets you sit in comfort while ignoring any unfortunate leaks, whether it's a daily or more periodic occurrence. Sadly this product proved incapable of securing a standing wearer and our healthcare advisors highlighted that it did nothing to prevent wandering fingers - or, when other people were involved, wandering other body parts. Supersoft could never release a product that doesn't offer full security and protection so sadly this one won't reach market.

Well, we're back at reception and my partner's just told me that the Fluffies Superapp has told her I need a change. I hadn't even noticed, but I hope you enjoyed the tour and come back another day when we can explore the special induction events we hold for our new hires. Until then, goodbye and stay safely padded!
