"You're not going anywhere; we are responsible for you"

The words spoken (well, texted) by my best friend last night (7 hours ago). 

Context.. its finally confirmed.  I got my flight booked yesterday.  I will be in Norway for a month. Well the VISA says anywhere in the Schengen. But I was originally thinking the VISA was only for 3 countries. I must have given the impression that I wanted to travel to other places, which I don't.  I get to be with my two best friends (one is the closest thing I have to a sister, so in my mind they're family) for a month.

But those words... "you're not going anywhere we are responsible for you"   ?

I'm 8 years older than them at 48, but it doesn't bother me. In the form they filled out to get my VISA granted, they said pretty much that they would (euphemism) wrap me in cotton wool and make sure I'm safe.
