One strange thing is that adult diapers are so big. I usually have M sized diapers. But my regular underwear is XXL.

That must be small underwear!   my "XXL" underwear is for 44-48in waist!   I need to go with XL sized diapers or they simply won't fit properly.

In truth the absorbency between M-XL is the same the only thing that changes is the dimensions of the shell material.

Also depending on the diaper some are yes very generously cut NS MegaMax is one .the small is just a smidge small the M is huge ,I use double liners in all my diapers that takes up space and gives me a much better fit.
