Trying to act more adult he said, "Sleep? No it's ok, I slept a lot on the way to the airport. But uh Chris, how was your flight? Where did you fly from?"

Chris smiled and said I was visiting my dad but I’m glad to be home, what do you do for work Andy do you work in a school like mom”

"Oh well, I um...(cough) i'm currently looking at the moment. I worked in the food business, but moving with your mom I needed to find another one. I'm sure i'll find something shortly."

Erica smiled “we won’t worry about that just now though” she then began to ask Chris questions about his summer leaving Andy mostly out

Andy smiled at Erica's comment. He then leaned back in his seat more and watched Chris and Erica talk. He slowly got bored, crossed his arms, and closed his eyes. Before he knew it he fell asleep.

Mother and son chatted and when they pulled in Chris simply carried Andy into the house rather then wake him. He laid the smaller boy on the sofa as he and his mother chatted about thier trips

Andy was fully unaware of what had happen, he starting to wake up and rub his eyes. Not recognizing his surrounds he panicked a bit, "Erica? Honey where are you?"

Erica appeared around the corner holding out her arms “well look whose up Mr I’m not tired, welcome home honey”

"Erica". Andy said as he ran into her open arms. "Well I guess I was a little tired. Your house is so big."

She smiled “I’m glad you like it honey now why don’t you come into the kitchen so we can have a little chat” she held out her hand

"Oh, um ok" Andy said as he took Erica's hand. "What did you want to talk about honey?"

“Just about tomorrow” she led Andy into the large clean kitchen where Chris already sat “let’s all sit down” she began so Andy... I I have get back to work titans while I’m at work I’m going to depend on Chris to show you around”

Andy was doing his best to look over the table while sitting. He said, "Oh that would be pretty cool, thanks Chris." Andy hoped he could bond more with Chris since he was his new step dad

Erica smiles “that’s great honey and I’m going to expect you to cooperate with Chris and remember that’s he knows his way around so if he has an idea or suggestion you really should listen until you get your bearings okay sweetheart”

Andy was a little suspicious to what Erica was saying, but shrugged it off. He didn't think a 12 year old would do much except play video games or anything so it couldn't be that bad, but he had to ask. "Sure honey, but I mean what kind of ideas or suggestions would he have? Maybe like what to eat or watch on tv?"

Erica smiles lovingly “no big deal hon but I’m sure that Chris will be taking you on a tour and showing you all around the house and keep in mind that you don't know your way around so I’m going to ask you to defer to him until you know about things”

"That sounds like a wonderful idea honey." Andy said to Erica. Then looking at Chris he said,"Alright Chris, does all of this sound good to you? I would be in your care." Andy softly laughed

Erica smiled and Chris nodded “great” he winked Just remember shoes in charge” he laughed

Andy smirked a bit and said, "Sure thing buddy, hope you take it easy on me."

Erica smiled and stood “well now that that’s settled why don’t I show you round hon do you need a shower or anything”

Andy smelled his shirt and under his arms, "Woah, ya a shower would be a good idea honey. But I would like to check out the rest of the house first."

“Sure sweetheart” she stood offering her hand “well this is the kitchen umm sorry it’s kind of made for tall people I guess” she looked around “actually sorry sweetheart we may need to get you a stool or something”

Andy was slightly embarrassed at the comment but knew it was necessary. He had a box he would use at his old place for the same purpose. "Ya, a uh...a stool would be great. I would love to get a glass of water on my own." Andy said with an awkward laugh.

Erica smile  “ok sweetheart I’ll work on that for now you can just ask Chris for help right sweetheart” she took him by the hand I’ll show you the upstairs, I think you should sleep in the guest room for now”
