Cody had just finish lunch when he went to get Chris and saw the two legos in Chris mouth. “ no baby bad boy take it out now. That is so unsafe I guess your two little to play with LEGO’s “ Cody said. He picked up Chris. “ I guess your not big enough to be unsupervised “

“Wait what noooo, I just needed to get them apart they were all stuck I’m big  I’m a big boy “

Cody wasn’t having it. “ you do not put them in your mouth. Only babies do that are you a baby. “ Cody asked he walked to the kitchen.

“No I’m not a baby I’m a big boy” he kicked his feet wildly like a hyper toddler “not a baby”

Cody sat Chris in the chair. “ okay then I want you to stop acting like a baby. You throwing tantrum is very baby like. If you want me to treat you like a big boy “ Cody said.

He wiggled his bum still kicking his feet and jumping up and down “I’m a big boy!! I’m a big boy, I am!!!!!! He screamed

Cody sighed. “ baby calm down please my big  boy. If your big boy  let’s eat all your lunch “ Cody said setting grilled cheese and green beans on a plate.  Cody set the plate down it was cut into pieces then he had silly cup of juice.

Chris took a could of deep breaths “ok okkk I can eat like a big boy! I can do that but can I use a real cup, I don’t need a sippy I won’t spill”

“ sorry big boy your not that big now. Please take small bite or I will have to feed you “  Cody sat down and started to eat his food.

Chris felt angry and he knew he was making it worse but he grabbed a big piece of grilled cheese and shoved it all in his mouth making a big show of chewing with his mouth open he Claire’s defiantly at  Cody

Cody watched what Chris did and knew he was mad about the soppy cup. “ well baby I guess I’ll will be feeding you each meal since you can’t eat right “ Cody said taking the plate away. “ chew slowly baby now baby “

Chris looked defeated and decided to eat right hoping to win back some big boy privileges “can I have my plate back I’ll be good”

Cody looked at Chris. “ you should have thought about that before you shoved the whole piece in your mouth “ Cody said as he held out piece of grilled cheese to Chris. “ eat it slowly and small bites “

Chris wasn’t sure what he should do so he reached for he piece slowly with his hand “are you giving me another change Cod”

Cody handed him the small piece. “ yes chew slowy “ Cody said.

Chris nodded wanting to prove he could handle big boy privileges then thought of something “ if you’re so insistent on this how will it work if you have work or want to go on a date I guess you’ll have to leave me alone and I get to be a big boy”

Cody looked at Chris. “ well when I go to work you will probably go to daycare at my office and then I will hire a baby sitter for you. “ Cody said. “ now eat please “

Chris took a bite “then added “I can’t go to daycare I’m a grownup everyone will laugh at me”

Cody laughed a little bit. “ sweetie no one will laugh because you  look exactly like a little kid. No one will no you are a grown up unless you tell them “ Cody said as he finished his food.

Chris got a smiled at n his face “that’s what I’ll do I’ll tell everyone that I’m a grownup and then they won’t let you do this to me anymore and I can be a big boy again” he nodded eating more grilled cheese

Cody started laughInfo some more. “ oh baby no one we believe but you can try okay “ Cody said laughing. “ your just so funny sometimes. I don’t why mom and dad ever let you grow up”

Chris hmmphed and crossed his little arms “they didn’t have a choice I grew up people grow up you know everyone in fact it’s not really a choice” he took another bit for good measure “I finished my sandwich

Cody laughed some more. “ well now your growing down I guess “ Cody said: he handed zack one piece of grilled cheese.” Slowly I have to call my girls friend “ Cody said going into the kitchen where he could still see Chris.

“”Yah I guess Chris’s mumbled”he slowly ate his sandwich “Cody I’m all done now please” he got up and walked towatd the back door
