Nick strapped the boy on the changing table.  “ baby the bigger kids have nap time to you just take yours early because need lots of sleep” nick said as he started to change his diaper.

Chris balled his fists and kicked his little feet “but that’s not fair I can be a big boy tooo. I used to be one and I done need to take a stupid baby nap”

Nick sighed he quickly changed the little boy then brought him over to the cub. He placed a pacifier in his mouth. “ have good nap baby maybe when you wake up you be so cranky “ nick said to him leaving Chris alone in the crib.

Chris looked around pouting. He knew he couldn’t fight this so he gave in closing his eyes for his nap

Nick got the other kids down for a nap shortly after then got everyone lunch then he finally went over to Chris. 

“ Chris baby time to get up you had enough sleep baby” nick said.

Chris’s eyes fluttered open and a smile came to his face “you called me Chris see I knew that was really my name” he looked at nick “can I get out now”

Nick looked at the boy he didn’t even realize it maybe he could trick him. “ oh no I called you baby. Why would I calll you Chris. That’s a big boy name and your just a baby “ nick said sitting him in his high chair

Chris crosses his arms pouting “I know what my name sounds wike I’m nots cwazy ya know”

nick just shrugged and brought a jar baby food strained carrots and another of strained strawberries. He tied a bib around Chris neck. he dipped the Spoon in the baby food. “ open up for the train” nick cooed.

Chris crossed his arms kicking his feet “I don’t need stupid baby food, I can eat real food rally and and we don’t need to tell Dada”

 Nick put the bowl  down and looked at Chris. “ baby you better stop talking silly and eat. Or you can sit there  until you ready to eat or until your daddy comes “ nick said to him.

Chris crossed his arms and pouted but eventually sighed “fine whatever I’ll eat, it’s not like a ha e a choice anyway “ he opened his mouth

Nick smiled at Chris and put a bib around his neck. “ that’s the spirit baby “ nick said spooning the food in his mouth.

Chris opened his mouth and accepted the food it was think and creamy but it made him gag “that’s yuck “ he made grabby hands for his bottle “what is this anyway”

“ it’s not yucky it’s yummy. You  need to eat a couple more bites before you get your baba “ nick said spooning some more food in to Cody mouth.

Chris gleeered that nick but opened his mouth he accepted another bite saying “if it’s so yummy then you eat it”

Nick looked at Chris “ okay “ nick said. Nick brought spoon up and pretended to eat it. “ this is so yummy.  So now you take a bite “ nick said bringing the spoon back up.

Chris sighed  and again opened his mouth “when an I play with everyone again, I want to show them that I. Not just a stupid baby and I’m fun”

“ well after lunch you can go play. But you are a baby. But probably not for long your daddy should be here soon “ nick said as he gave Cody the last of the food.

Chris accepted the last bites waiting to be released “ it doesn’t mean everyone has to treat me so different , I’m not that much littler you know”

“ well baby you are the smallest one In the daycare. So that’s probably why “ nick said he put Cody down to let him go play with the other kids while he cleaned up.

Chris didn’t waste a second, he toddled over to the group of kids and sat down to the action figures and dolls “can I play please”

Mike and James looked at Cody. “ only if you will listen to us “ mike said holding out a action figure.
