My name is Matt, and I’m a smol (a Little). I have a Papa who I live with, and when I’m not acting like a grownup he keeps his eye on me. 

 

I like a lot of nerdy media, including video games and comics. I’m also a writer in the process of finishing his first book. My inspirations are Skyrim, Zelda, and D.Gray-Man (an anime).

 

As a Little my personality ranges on the daily- I am a Gemini after all. Usually I can be selfish and mischievous, but Papa knows I am not meaning it for anything more than a joke or a means of getting his attention. Surprisingly, this personality is a simple magnification of my personality as a grownup.

 

I came to the forum with the full intent of learning about the community and learning to accept myself within the community. As an adult dealing with autism, it can be very difficult to word or phrase my emotions without possibly causing a scene. Allowing myself the time and place to have a tantrum makes it a lot easier to diffuse the extra stress. Additionally, although I haven’t done diapers yet- I am still living with family and they do not know- I do know that I very likely deal with something that may medically necessitate care. Nothing too major, but I’ve known for a while that IBS is a comorbid syndrome to ASD. 

 

My Papa is not one to come onto these forums. He deals with some aspects of repression that I cannot fathom, things that he just can’t bring to a public forum such as this. I have to respect his wishes and I intend on any pictures of my stuffies or my pjs or anything like that will likely not have him in them. He’d want it that way, and I understand that he isn’t to the point where he can discuss it like I can. I’ll still refer to him when I tell stories or have discussions, and I may speak out to others here on his behalf, but he’s a very private person and that’s just how he is.

 

Aside from that, my life as a grownup consists of a simple phone job at a major company (I’m not at liberty to say), and a semester of school left to go. I’m a double Major in both English Literature and Religious Studies, which sounds really snobby when I write it down but, hey, whatcha gonna do, right?

 

I guess I’ll just leave this open for discussion then. I gotta sleep, I have grownup work tomorrow and Papa doesn’t like me up until 3AM. Nighty!
