A Friend In Need

Charlotte laid on the floor. After about 5 minutes she started coming to and wondered what the fuck had happened. That had never happened before.

Cal was just about to dial 911 when you started to wake up. "Charlotte! You... you fainted. Has that ever happened before?"

"Not for a few years. Back when I lived in Britain. It was rather common unfortunately. It's caused by stress. Speaking of which. I should get to class. I'm already late...."

"You seriously think you're going to school after that???"

[LilLadyLexi]

"it's not like I have a choice.."

[Wannatripbaby]

He sighs. "Fine. But I'm driving. I draw the line at letting you behind the wheel after this!"

[LilLadyLexi]

"kinda figured that one out seeing as I don't drive to school. I get a bus but sure. I'll take a lift. Means I've got an extra 30 minutes to sit down"

[Wannatripbaby]

"Oh. Shit, why didn't you just ask for a ride, then? We might've avoided all of this!"

[LilLadyLexi]

Charlotte glared. "Because I try to be independent unless people offer. Asking is greedy" she said taking a seat on the sofa. "I'm really tired all of a sudden."

[Wannatripbaby]

He brings over a plate of bacon and eggs. "Eat. It'll help give you energy."

[LilLadyLexi]

"Thanks. But I feel like if I eat I'm gonna throw up. I reaaaallllly don't feel too good"

[Wannatripbaby]

"You really shouldn't be going anywhere today. You are allowed to call in sick once in a while. I can go pick up your homework later."

"I really really appreciate it. But I can't miss a day"

[Wannatripbaby]

"And how exactly do you plan on getting anything done today? You look like you can barely walk!" He puts a hand on your forehead. "God, you're burning up!"

"I really am fine, Just help me up will you?"

He helps you up. "You're sure you're alright?"

She was swaying side to side but she still seemed insistant she was okay

"Umm, I hate to be the barer of bad news, but I think we have another problem..." he looks down at your once again wet pants.

"What? Oh fuck" she says looking down. "I didn't even feel anything..."

[Wannatripbaby]

"Don't worry about it. The couch is leather and will clean up easily." He sits you back down. "Wait here. I bought something last night that should help with these accidents." He leaves the room.

"Something to help? What?" Charlotte seemed nervous about what the "Something" could be

He came back a moment later with a towel in one hand, likely for cleaning the mess you've made, and a large bag in the other.

"I did a lot of research last night. And the consensus was that until these accidents stop on their own the only real thing you can do is try to, shall we say, contain the damage. After pouring over pages of reviews and advice and cross-referencing them with what was actually available to me, I came up with the best temporary solution."

He pours the bag out onto the coffee table revealing its contents: adult diapers, baby wipes, talcum powder, and diaper rash cream.

"Funny joke. I'm sorry I'm forgetting to laugh"

Her face had gone very serious and stern.

"I would much rather fail every class than wear something as rediculous as that. No fucking way"

Charlotte slowly walked into her room to change out of her wet clothes.
