"Say, umm, I knownthis is supposed to be Kelly’s big day and all, but I wanted you both to know that hanging around you 2 these past three days have been some of the best days I've had in a long time. You really make me feel like... family."

"Yeah. I mean, my parents aren't nearly as bad as Kelly’s were, but... they don't... it doesn't feel like much of a family. Just... people living together in the same house."

"That's very sweet of you to say, honey. Remind me what the situation with your mom is?"

"She and dad got divorced when I was 8. I only see her a few times a year and, honesty, she's pretty happy with that arrangement."
