Japanese Homestyle *Reboot* (Private with Ishigreensa)

[Ishigreensa]

Kenji sighed as he got her cleaned up.

She was acting like a really small kid, someone that wasn't even in fourth grade, but there was no way he could justify putting her in a lower grade that he already had her in.  Besides, it wouldn't really help her, would it?

He continued to bath to her while saying some random Japanese that had to do with bathing so that she could hopefully pick up a couple of new words.

"Tate," he commanded when he lifted her to her feet to wash off her bottom and legs.  "Suwatte," he said as he helped her sit back down into the water.

"Te Te," he said as he took her hands so he could wash under her arms.  "Mae," he said as he pulled her forward to he could wash her back.  "Senaka," he washed her back.

On and on he went until he had her cleaned.

"Tate," he finally said waiting for her.  When he wasn't sure if he understood, he helped her stand up again, and then he picked her up out of the water and put her on the floor where he started to dry her off....

She listened carefully at daddy's instructions and watched the clues for what they meant. She picked up on each word and their instructions. When he brought it back around to the first word it took her a second to remember what exactly it meant. Then when she remembered daddy hoisted her out of the bath tub and she giggled and layed back on the towel.

He continued with a few more one word vocabulary lessons while he dried her off and then he picked her up, took her to brush her teeth, and then carried her wrapped in the towel to her room to get her dressed for the day.

While he was working on getting her dressed, there was a knock at the door.

"Wait here because you are not decent," he told her.  

He went to answer the door.

They were out there for a while....

She lays back smiling as daddy dried her and brushed her teeth. She lays back wrapped in the towel on her bed she is bored and instinctively moves her thumb to her mouth and sucks on it for a bit waiting for daddy to return. She wonders who is at the door. It is an odd time to have visitors.

[Ishigreensa]

Kenji came back to finish dressing the girl, and he smiled at her.

"Honey, do you want to play with friends today?" he asked her.  "Apparently, four of your classmates figured out where you live, and they want to play with you."

He smiled as he went to getting her dressed.

"Yeah daddy! Yeah daddy! Yeah yeah yeah!" She said flopping on the bed excitedly as she was put into a new diaper and a longsleve shirt with a dress over it she was so excited she couldn't even really hold herself still as she wanted to hurry before her friends left her.

He smiled and patted her bottom lightly.

"Honey, you need to stop squirming about and let me get you ready, or you'll end up seeing them half dressed, and while they might suspect you need diapers, I don't think you really want to show off to them that you are wearing them, do you?"

He chuckled.

"Just a couple more moments, baby...."

"I don't know daddy they might be proud of me that i wear diapers so i don't have anymore accidents" she says remembering her dream last night and how she kind of would like that to be a reality. Megumi especially might be happy because she no longer has to hurry and drag her places. She holds still after the half dressed comment because while she doesn't mind her diapers being seen she doesn't want to go out naked. She holds her feet up so daddy can put her in her socks and shoes.

Once he had her dressed up to meet her friends, smiling at her and shaking his head at her innocent comments, he lifted her down on her feet.

"Okay, your friends are out in the living room.  You can go talk to them, then I'll take you all to the park soon, okay?"

He then let her out of the room.

After she had gone off, he straightened up the bedroom  bit so that her friends, if they went to see her room, wouldn't see anything that showed that she had peed herself in the night before.  While he didn't think they would be mean about, he also didn't think it decent to just show it all out there without care, either.

In the living room, Megumi and Shizue were both there along with two other girls from their class.

Megumi ran over as soon as she saw her, and put her arm around Gabby.

"Shizue told me you go to store and see, then she came to here to you, so she call me and we come to visit."

"Yay thank you!" She hugs the younger but much more mature girl tightly them runs over to Shizue, well more like toddles, and does the same. She didn't want to be rude so she waved at the other two girls from class and made an adorable attempt at introducing herself that souded like a toddler trying to introduce herself "Ha....jime...mashite." she started with nervously hoping she said that right then took a breath and attempted to say "Watashi no namae wa Gabby desu." It didn't come out nearly as clear and again more toddler like and she turned to Megumi and Shizue for approval.

[Ishigreensa]

The girls all giggled.  'Hajimemashite' was an adult greeting and also a greeting for formal introduction in class.  It was hardly something that little kids went around saying to each other in the natural way on a playground, but even though she said the adult word, the way she said it, and the way she introduced herself, she sounded like a five year old.

Still, trying to make her feel good about knowing something about introducing herself, the other girls decided to use the same word.  It was a word that she knew, right?

"Hajimemashite," the two girls said.

"Anno kata ha Risa-chan," Shizue said pointing to the one with pigtails, a little plushier face, and wearing a pink dress.  "Anno kata ha Mika-chan."

Mika was wearing a white shirt with a rainbow on the front and a pair of jeans.

"Kyou, Mika-chan ha Gaba-chan agerukoto wo motteiru no," Shizue continued.

Guessing that was too much, Megumi finally cut in.

"So, They are Mike and Risa," Megumi introduced the others again.  "And Mika brought something to give Gabby-chan."

Mika was holding out some flash cards like you use to teach little tiny ones vocabulary.

"Mika's mother doesn't need these anymore because Mika's brother is six years old now.  Mika asked.  She gives these so you learn Japanese speaking well, soon."

"Oh?" Turns to Mika and bows to her "Sumi-masen Mika-chan" she says once again in a childish broken up manner. When she bowed the back of her dress lifted so Megumi and Shizue caught a hard glimps at her diapers plus they crinkled a little but Gabby didn't seem to notice.

Mika giggled again.  It was because of her saying "Sumimasen" rather than how broken it sounded.  She had expected her to say "arigatou" instead.  Still, she smiled and when she handed her the gift, it was contained in five bags.  There were over a thousand cards, and all the cards were written in hiragana, so she hoped that Gabby could learn to ready Hiragana at the same time as learning how to speak Japanese.

Mika said something to Megumi.

"Mika says we are going to come to your house three times a week after school, and we are going to teach you these cards.  Then, you can do better at school that way," Megumi translated.

She smiled not realizing that she actually said an apology instead of a word of gratitude. When Megumi gave her the good news she was practically jumping up and down in excitement which let the other two girls see her "underwear"

The three girls didn't say a word about her diaper.  Though it was a little strange, and both Shizue and Mika were a little concerned that she needed diapers during the day to stay dry, Megumi already knew she needed them and didn't care.

The three girls brought her to the little table in the living room, and sat around it while they pulled out one of the packs of cards, this one containing some simple verbs.

They started to try to teach her the words, in the simplest form.  While not really a good way to talk to the teacher, at least she could make herself understood if she used these words, and if they used these words in the plainest form, then she would understand them, somewhat.

Gabby listened as the girls held up words and sounded it out for her and she repeated it and looked under the words to see what they mean and she did her best to try and commit these words to memory. When she was praised for getting words right she bounced up and down happily making her diaper crinkle.

Unfortunately, the words didn't have any English written, so she couldn't look under them for the meaning.  She just had to listen to Megumi tell her the meaning.  What they had, under them, was hiragana, how to say the words.  The front had kanji and a picture.

They practiced one set of words for over an hour together, before they decided to take a break and just play a little bit.

"Do you want to go outside?" Megumi eventually asked her.

Shizue frowned and told Megumi off in Japanese.  Then she turned to Gabby.

"Soto?" she pointed to the door.  "Iku?"  Iku had been one of the words they were teaching her meaning 'to go'.

Gabby pieced together what she was saying and remembered what iku meant. But she remembered that daddy told her they were going to the park so she responded with"Chotto" then turned to Megumi and explained in English "my daddy say he take us to the park soon."

[Ishigreensa]

Megumi thought about what she had said a moment, trying to think of the easiest way to say it.  It seemed to take a long while, but finally she smiled at the group, and then said it slowly so that Gabby could follow.

"Sumimasen.  mo sukoshi, koen he iku to omoimasu.  Chichi kara kita."

She then smiled at Gabby to tell her what she said to make sure she got it.

"Sumimasen, this time, means excuse me.  In a little, I think we go park.  Daddy said it.  There is a better way to say it.  But you don't good at Japanese, so this is easy way."

"Oopsie. I sorry." She tells Megumi looking down blushing and swaying back and forth embarrassed by her lack of Japanese making her look silly as she also realized what Sumimasen really means and that just humiliated her further. 

[Ishigreensa]

Megumi smiled and waved off the embarrassment.

"It's okay," she cooed at her as if she was younger than her.  "You are new in Japan, and you can't help it, if you go to fourth grade before Japanese go to fourth grade.  You are just a little younger than us, and we don't mind.  We think you cute little girl."

She smiled.

"Sumimasen has many meaning, so it confusing sometimes, even to Japanese people, when to use it or a new word."

Gabby had to make a choice either humiliate herself even further or let everyone think she is actually younger than she is. She then almost immediately tries to justify it in her head that if they think she's little  than she will seem smart for her head so she smiles and nods.

[Ishigreensa]

The girls gathered around her.

"It's a first time to see an eight year old in a diaper for us," Megumi said.  "But it okay to us.  We don't laugh it.  You have trouble to go potty, and that doesn't care for us."

She hugged her friend.

"We just want for you learn Japanese to better talk to other friend and teacher to school, okay?"

She told the others what she was saying in Japanese and they all pulled around her and hugged her patting her head like they sometimes do with younger kids than them, even brushing her hair with their palms towards her eyes.  They really seemed to like her, at least, if she was younger than they were, and having all these problems.
