Japanese Homestyle *Reboot* (Private with Ishigreensa)

[Ishigreensa]

Kenji picked her up and carried her to the kitchen where he had to put her down by the table so he could cook her something to eat.

"You be a good girl and sit there, and I'll get you something right quick, okay?" he said starting to prepare some deep fried stuff.

She nods and sits there laying her head on the table humming small songs to herself she occasionally peaks in on daddy in the kitchen she hopes she can sit in daddy's lap and he feed her that's always fun. She has no clue what he's cooking but she knows it smells great

After a while, there is tempura shrimp and vegetables a long with a deep fried breaded outside to a meat patty and a potatoe patty on her dish.  Then there is a light salad made up of something like cabbage, but not the American cabbage that she knows.  There is also corn in it, tomatoes, and sliced cucumbers.  He brought some salad dressing to the table, but didn't pour it over hers because he wasn't sure if she would like seseme seed salad dressing or not.

He then sat down at the table, and picked her up.

"Now, I'm going to show you how to use ohashi," he said.  ohashi being the Japanese word for chopsticks which word he didn't really know in English because it always sounded weird to him, so weird, that he just couldn't remember the right way it went.  He knew sticks was part of the word, but what?  stick mouth?  mouthsticks?  jawsticks?  toothstick?  No, a toothstick was something you used to clean your teeth after dinner or something like that....

Anyway, he sat her in his lap and started to help her wrap her hand around the sticks properly.

"Ewwwww daddy i don't like salad bleck" she said having a disguised look upon seeing the salad. She pushed it away and only looked at the deep fried stuff and tried to hold the chop sticks the way daddy showed her she also wanted to learn how to say it's native name right. "O-ha-shi right daddy? " she says looking to him for approval

He smiled.

"Yes, O-hashi," he said back to her.  "O doesn't have to be said, but it sounds better like you are trying to be polite when you do.  And if you look more carefully, you can see it's not an American Salad," he picked up a cucumber with his own ohashi.  "See?  It has Kyuri in it."  Kyuri is the word for cucumbers, and these were really fresh, so when you bite into it, it has a refreshing taste.  They are not as sweet as fruit, but they are a lot sweeter than many other kinds of vegetables are.  "And it has yellow corn that was freshly chucked from cob in it and then steamed, not boiled."

He smiled at her.

"Just try it, honey.  I bet you'll like it.  You might not like the cabbage, and that's okay.  you don't have to eat that if you don't want to."

She looked the cucumber and pointed to it "kyuri" she says sounding like a toddler first learning how to talk she took a bite of the cucumber and smiled at daddy as she ate it and leaned back on him

He smiled and relaxed as he started to help her eat.

He wanted her to get used to using ohashi, but he didn't want to force her too much.  Eventually, when he thought her fingers were tired of being in an odd position for her, he took her ohashi from her, and started to feed her himself.

When she was done eating, he changed her position so her head was in his lap, but so he could eat more easily.

She couldn't be happier daddy was feeding her. With each bite she bounced in his lap until her tummy was full then she got to lay in his lap she made happy cute noises down there

Once he was done eating, he pushed the dishes to one side of the table, and then he picked her up in his lap again, and he rocked her gently while he turned the television to cartoons.  They were in Japanese, but at least it was something familiar to American kids, Tom and Jerry.

Which had no talking mostly so she could watch easily she was entranced by it. She didn't get to watch slapstick cartoons like this back home because her parents deemed it too violent so she had a lot of questions for daddy about how the cat and mouse were able to do all of that stuff without getting seriously hurt because she did not understand cartoon logic

[Ishigreensa]

Actually, in Japanese, the cat and mouse had reaction words and voices that were voiced  because the culture was not the same, so the translators put that in for the Japanese children to understand what was happening.

"Honey, they are not real," he told her.  "They are just drawings someone made to entertain us with, and then put into a movie by showing different pictures so quickly that they look like they are moving.  It's just supposed to be funny.  The things they do are an exaggeration....."

He went on trying to explain to her, but he could see that it was nearly pointless to just use words to explain, so he told her to wait a minute.

He got up and went and got a pad of notes- paper.  He then sat down at the table and have her half while he took half.  He started to draw something on the corner of the papers.

After a while, he put her back in his lap with the notes stapled together.

He was no artist, but he drew a stick figure moving an arm and a leg in different frames, then he fanned the corner so she could see it moving.  Then he showed her each still framed paper so she could see how he made it move.

"That's basically how they do cartoons, though they have better ways to make them come alive these days at movie studios."

She was very curious about what daddy was saying and looked at him with childish wonder. She whined when daddy got up but was immediately happy again when put back in his lap. When daddy madde the flipbook cartoon Gabby squealed, bounced, and clapped her hands "Do it again daddy do it again!"

[Ishigreensa]

He smiled and flipped the pages for her again.

"You can do almost anything you want into a cartoon.  No matter what you do to it, because it is a cartoon, you can always redraw it.  That's what cartoon makers do, so Tom and Jerry, since they are not real, they can't really get hurt like real animals can."

He smiled at her.

That's why what they do to each other is funny.  Because most people know that as much as they'd like to do that in real life, they can't wihtout something really bad happening," he explained.

"Oh i get it. It's an immersive experience right daddy?" She says remembering reading about that in a psychology textbook. She giggled again when daddy flipped the pages then turned back to Tom and Jerry and giggled at the slapstick comedy understanding it better now.

[Ishigreensa]

He smiled not really understanging what she meant by immersive Experience.  His English wasn't that good.

"Well, I'm glad you understand it, then," he said trusting she understood anyway.

He patted her lap as she watched Tom and Jerry.

Half an hour later she's  asleep in his lap and once again has started to wet herself. This time it was directly on daddy Kenji though

Kenji didn't notice her peeing at first because of the warmth of her sitting on him for so long.  In fact, she is nearly half way through her deed before he finally realized that something felt strange and started to move his hand under her to make her more comfortable and then he noticed that her bottom was all wet and so was his pants.

With a sigh, he just adjusted her a bit and let her sleep a little more.

It must have been a rough day at school, and with getting hurt..., he figured she just needed some rest.  He let her finish peeing in her sleep before he carefully picked her up and carried her to her room to put her down on the floor by her bed so he could change her clothes before putting her to bed.  It was about bed time anyway.

"It's okay," he whispered to her as he started to change her not wanting her to be startled too much when she woke up and found out he was changing her.  She would surely realize she was all wet if she woke up in the middle of him changing her.

He wiped her off with a wet cloth before putting a diaper on her and then tucking her into bed in just an undershirt and a diaper to sleep.

She didn't wake up at all during the change she had pleasant dreams of being in cartoons with her daddy she never noticed that her new underwear was something akin to a cloud.

(Should she mess in her sleep?)

(No, I think messing should be done while awake because I feel it takes effort to do it, so it would definitely wake her up.  Of course, that's just how it feels to me.  Just let her do it at school the next day if you want her to do it).

The next morning, Kenji got up and started breakfast at about 5:30 though she really didn't have to get up for an hour.  He wanted to surprise her with a pancake breakfast, and to make sure she also had time to get a bath because he was sure she'd wet again in her sleep, and she had already wet herself twice the day before, and he didn't remember if he gave her a bath or not after the first time, but knew he didn't the second time as it happened just before he put her to bed.

She did have a bath after the first accident but she had three accidents yesterday not to mention her diaper is soaked right now so she will probably need at least one bath every day. She wakes up around 6:00 and climbs out of bed not noticing her thick undergarments she rubs her eyes as she calls out for daddy being needy to start off the day

[Ishigreensa]

"In the kitchen, sweetheart!" he called back to her.  "I'm making breakfast, baby!"

He was almost done, though, so he would probably let her eat before he gave her a bath unless she was a real mess....

She rubbed her eyes and felt groggy and still sleepy. So sleepy that she doesn't notice that she's not walking she's toddling into the kitchen with her saggy diaper showing clear as day. She yawns and walks up to daddy and reaches to be picked up

[Ishigreensa]

Kenji picked her up and put her in his lap so he could start feeding her.

He figured that if she ate something, that would help her wake up, and so make bath time a little easier on both of them.

"Do you like pancakes?" he asked her.

[BabyGabrial]

She yawns and lays back in daddy's lap and had has to resist falling back to sleep "yes daddy.....pancakes are yummy......" she got out as her eyes were closing then they burst back open trying to wake up

[Ishigreensa]

He started to feed her.

As he did, he pressed against her front to see how badly she had wet, and the diaper started to leak around her bottom getting her legs and then her pajama pants a little wet from the bit of leaking.

He had not meant to make her leak.  He just wanted to see how badly she had wet, but in a few moments, he realized the mistake as the liquid started to seep into his own pants.

He just kept feeding her anyway.

She had really wet in the night!
