(I think the only way she's going to realize that she needs to be in elemetary school, is if she wets her pants and gets made fun of... besides, even if the math looks similar, she's going to get the answers wrong because she can't tell exactly what is asked, and the teacher is not just teaching them how to solve, but asking them to write what they are doing... and she can't write Japanese, yet, can she?)

Some of the kids were going up to the teacher to get their work checked after completing the worksheet, and the teacher would circle some and send them back to their seats to work on the ones that were still wrong....

(She cannot)

Gabby takes hers up pretty sure she got at least some of them right but when the teacher handed her paperback all of her answers were circled letting her know that either she got it wrong or just simply because she didn't explain how she got to that answer she went back to her seat scared and confused trying to rework everything and the stress starts getting to her and she starts sweating and her bladder starts getting full

The teacher looked sadly at her not sure how to correct her since she didn't know enough English to help her.

Eventually, the period goes by, but no one leaves the class room at all.

Even if Gabby left the class, she would see that the toilets at the school are traditional Japanese toilets where you squat over them, not sit down....

She is too embarrassed to even make an attempt at asking to go to the bathroom so she decides to tough it out and try to hold it and wonders what the next. Is going to be she also wonders if there's any consequences to her getting all the math problems wrong and if that will affect your grade. She has no idea what's really going on and it's really starting to show as she starting to get more and more embarrassed luckily no one is really watching her except for maybe the teacher

The teacher had already left the room because the teachers change classes in Japan, not the kids so much except when they have classes that can't be done in a regular classroom, like PE, Music, Art, or Science, but most of the classes, the same kids use the same room most of the day!

She will have the same classmates even when they do change rooms.

(A very basic difference with the Japanese system and the American system even in high school)

After around ten minutes, a bell sounds and the Social Studies teacher comes in and writes some symbols on the board... Obviously Japanese words!

"Kore kara ...."

He waits and students are all standing up to get ready to greet the teacher.

Now, they were just waiting on the pissy little girl.  Class hadn't even started yet.  He just wrote some stuff and then turned for the student reps to start class.

One of her classmates nudges her to stand up not yet realizing she's peeing because that's unheard of beyond second grade in Japan.

She's slowly stands up and tries to cover the wet spot on her skirt she is looking around very nervous and extremely red in the face people are thinking she must be sick and have a fever or something of that nature

The students all bow, and if she follows along, then her wet skirt is seen....

The teacher turned to the board to start to explain.

One of the other girls is looking right at her, as she sits next to her, frowning.

She is doing her best not to make eye contact with anyone and tries to hide her face and try to make the slightest bit of sense out of what the teacher is putting on the board to come to grips that she is absolutely clueless due to the language barrier. Her parents were completely wrong she should have learned Japanese before ever coming here and it's really really really getting to her

There were soon whispers going around the class, and some of the boys and girls started to notice the girl with a puddle around her seat and her skirt was wet.  They were gossiping about her peeing her pants, but not in the way of ew!  What an idiot, but more like....

"Poor girl!  I wonder if she's okay....  Why doesn't she go to the nurse and change?  Do you think she has a problem with her body?  Maybe she's just really nervous and didn't think to ask the teacher!  Maybe she doesn't know how to ask the teacher, and that's why she wet.  I haven't heard her talk at all!"

The whispers were almost all sympathetic rather than blaming!

She is not able to tell that do to once again really bad language barrier. She Can Hear The Whispers And she can sleep in looks. She can tell that she is the subject of their secret conversations but she cannot tell that they are of worried and thinks that they possibly are teasing her

One of her classmates notices she is looking really upset, and she raised her hand.

"The new girl is having a problem," she told the teacher.  "I don't think she can speak our language, but she's peed her pants and doesn't look like she knows what to do about it, now."

The teacher shook his head and sighed.

"Help her to the nurse, okay?"

"Yes."

The girl next to her reached her hand out to Gabby as she stood up.

"Oh Ee Day," she said.  "ee koh?"

She waited patiently hoping the girl knew it was okay to stand up.  Everyone already knew she was wet by then, so there was no hiding it.  No one was pointing at her or laughing.  There were actually a few very troubled faces as they looked at her, one of which had tears in her eyes.

The girl reached for her hand again.

"ee koh!"

She tried to lead her out of the room, trying to take both her hands, and be kind about it, almost as if she was an elementary school student maybe in first or second grade that needed help finding her way around a big school.  She was trying to be as patient and kind about it as she could.  She saw nothing funny at all about a girl her age wetting her pants in front of everyone to see it.  If anyone did laugh, she would have given them the ugliest look possible to mankind, and maybe even hit them in the mouth for it.

"Die joh buh" she said slowly to the girl.  "Die joh buh!  ee tay!

She tried to take a few steps hoping she could get her to follow her....

Gabby looks scared very scared she held the girl's hand very nervously and followed her as she spoke in Japanese and Gabby felt absolutely ashamed that she couldn't understand the girl and she wondered where she was taking her

The girl tried to smile and hoped that it would comfort her a little until they got to the first floor and to the nurse's office.

Once she got in, she led her to a curtained partition and pointed at the bed.

She then left to go to the teacher's gathering room to ask for a nurse or other available female teacher to help the foreigner.

An English teacher came in because she could speak it a little bit.

"Hi," she said.  "I speak English a little because I am English teacher here."

She walked over and put her arm around the little girl.

She sat on the bed and put her had in her knees and just sat there waiting and started crying a little when she was alone then she hears someone come in and they speak broken English to her but she can understand it fairly easy so she waves

"Your classmate said me that you peed in your seat."

She smiled.

"It's okay.  I guess a new country, a new school, and a new teacher, so you don't know the rule.  If you raise your hand and ask, the teacher lets you go.  Just say "$#%$%&#$."

The Japanese seemed a little strange and fast to most first time listeners.

She agreed with him when he was saying things in English then he said that phrase in Japanese and she turn pale all over again she needed to learn Japanese before she could actually learn anything else she needed to learn Japanese

The teacher frowned.

"Okay, just say to-ray and hold yourself between your legs, then," she said.  "That will get your point across and people will know what you want, honey."

She sighed.

"Now, you need a change of clothes, yes?"

She took the little girl to the other side of the room and they looked through a box of old clothes.

They found a school skirt that had been abandonned for who knew how long and a pair of gym shorts.

"We don't have any panties for you, so the gym shorts will have to work for that, and you can wear a skirt, okay?"

She nodded she really did not feel like talking she's too afraid she'll make even more of a fool of herself. She thought she was ready for high school but it turns out she's not even ready for Middle School she had an accident in the middle of class not to mention she couldn't understand a thing from class she felt awful and she bet daddy Kenji felt ashamed of her whenever he hears about this she can expect a long lecture and maybe a spanking when she gets home cuz that's probably what her parents would do

Link to comment

The English teacher could see that the girl was really nervous and she didn't see the point in sending her back to class even after she changed, or helped her change her clothes.

"How about you stay here for a bit?" she asked the little girl.  "I'll call home for you and see if your host parents can come and get you.  Who are you staying with again?"

Link to comment

She wanted that she really really really wanted that there is nothing more that she wants right now then for her daddy to come and get her even if he'll be mad at her "Kenji" she told the English teacher her daddy's name she didn't really know his last name which is probably an issue she should probably fix
