The Tornado Threw him a Baby Brother who is Ten

He was awake just laying on his tummy kicking his feet sucking the bottle he didn't get to finish last night. The juice in it was still cold so it woke him up. It was also pretty yummy so he had a smile on his face. Overall he looked pretty downright adorable.

Jason smiled and started to pick him up.

"Are you hungry, buddy?" he asked him.  "I have oatmeal on the stove in the kitchen, and Jessica is waiting to eat, too."

He then took him to the changing table to check his diaper.  He was probably wet since Jason had not changed him since the night before and Jason never remembered him ever going near the toilet especially by himself.

His diaper is absolutely soaked and he smiles behind the bottle and continues drinking as he lays down. Is almost finished with his bottle and nods when asked if he was hungry

Jason changed him nodding to himself that he knew it!

He cleaned the young boy up, and then he started to get another diaper on him.  He hoped Jessica wasn't so hungry she would reach for the hot pan.  She might be eleven, but he was new at babysitting, and didn't know if eleven years old was old enough to leave alone with hot food on the stove or not.

They generally are by age 11 they can be trusted to handle basic stuff and even if she wasn't 11 she seems to be able to take care of herself a little bit the only time where she seems immature is when she's playing with Dominic even then it seems more so they can be Playmates and yet she takes care of him as well

(I know that... I was saying this from Jason's point of view!  He doesn't know that!)

Jessica is reading at the table she isn't too hungry so she can wait besides she knows that Jason is busy with the baby. She's thinking of maybe going and helping him out the little guy can be a handful. Dominic is being the most behaved baby ever he is not making a fuss or anything as he's getting his diaper changed

Once Dominic had his diaper changed, he picked him up and put him on his feet and led him in just a diaper and a shirt to the table to eat.

He helped him to the table and then looked at Jessica (if she didn't move) and smiled.

A few minutes later, he was dishing out oatmeal for the three of them.

Dominic reaches over and Jessica pulls him into her lap " somebody want big sister to feed his little tummy tum tums?" She asks him tickling his stomach and he giggles

Jason shook his head at the kids.  

They really were cute together!

He wouldn't mind watching the pair of them all the time, but he knew that was unlikely.  They had different parents with different schedules.  If it wasn't for her, though, he was sure he would have lost his mind with Dominic.  Dominic could be really needy sometimes, and by dividing his attention between the two of them, it made it a lot easier on him.

Jessica loves taking care of Dmimi he's only a year younger than her but he'd like a little baby and she thinks that's just absolutely adorable. He even eats like a baby so she's having to wipe his mouth off after every few bites

Jason was thinking he should talk to Domini's mom when he sees her again to figure out what is exactly going on with him.  Yeah, he doesn't know a lot bout kids, but this kid is definitely acting more like a toddler than a big kid in almost every way.

He sighed and watched the adorable kids, one taking care of the other.

They really were cute together!

Once they both finish breakfast Jessica hands Dominic Mary and they go off upstairs to watch some Disney movies together. Jessica is a preteen girl so naturally she first has them watch Frozen.

Jason started to clean up the kitchen while they went off to go play.

He's not worried about her because she's eleven, has been acting quite mature, and he knows she knows the place pretty well since this has been her daycare, for how long?  She obviously comes here after school almost everyday!

Soon enough, he has the kitchen clean again and he goes looking for them.

They are upstairs in the older kids playroom watching Frozen together with their stuffed animals and Dominic laying on Jessica's shoulder and her rubbing his back Dominic is about due for his morning poopy and his breakfast is making its way down for that

Jason started to watch the movie with them not sure of whatelse to do.  

By now, his cellphone was dead.  There was no way to charge it, and he had no idea of how his mom would find him or how Dominic's mom would find them, but at the moment, his job was to keep these two younger people safe.

Dominic sucked his thumb as he watched and Jessica pulled it out "nonono that's yucky your hands are dirty"

Jason went over, and he patted Jessica on the lap.

"It's okay," he told her.  "Dominic can't help it.  He's used to this, but let's take him to wash his hands so at least his hand is clean when he puts it back in his mouth, okay?"

He then picked Dominic up and reached for her hands.

"How about we wash your hands too, honey.  You just had breakfast, so you most likely need to wash off your hands and face anyway."

Dominic giggles when he's picked up and Jessica Smiles as her hand is taken and they are led to the bathroom she helps Dominic put his hands under the sink and squirt some soap in them and helps him rub them together all the while he is giggling his heart out

Jason smiled as she helped him wash his hands.

She really did seem like a big sister to him, but she was treating him more like he was about three or four than he was ten, not that Jason blamed her.  Domini was acting like someone that was pretty young.

" there we go now if you put your little thumby in your mouth it won't taste yucky ucky" she says patting him on the head and he almost immediately puts his thumb in his mouth and start sucking it which makes her chuckle

Jason laughed a bit, too.

"You really know how to take care a younger brother," he praised Jessica.  "Do you have little brothers or sisters at home?"

" nope I'm the youngest but my older brother and sister don't live with me they live with their mom" she says pretty much explaining that she has half siblings probably either from a previous marriage or from a previous Romance
