RMS401 Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 Truly a riveting account of the event, Scott. Have you ever considered writing stories for a living? -RMS
Red Barchetta Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 She admitted to be a bed wetter into her teen years. That I would say is a lot more common than people think. Barely note worthy....
It's A Boy! Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 But interestingly, her television show on Comedy Central (premeried tonight) seemed to have some infantilist overtones. Ex: toward the end of the program, her sister is taking her home and says, "Let's get you scrubbed up." She's an interesting one!
nctemp Posted February 5, 2007 Posted February 5, 2007 All four parts of the interview are on youtube. She has an interesting story about wetting the bed at a sleep over in the 2nd part. Near the end of the 3rd or beginning of the 4th part she talks about pooping her pants, too. I doubt she is, but it's interesting to think she might be an ABDL herself. http://youtube.com/watch?v=RrlYpm91WbM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NjhZNbgVtgw&NR http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VGaBn0YTsrM&NR http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9CNdgb81Fc8&NR
seppuku Posted February 5, 2007 Posted February 5, 2007 In case you didn't know, Sarah Silverman's comedy almost exclusively revolves around making ridiculous statements. This might put things in context. You can't believe a word she says.

nctemp Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 In case you didn't know, Sarah Silverman's comedy almost exclusively revolves around making ridiculous statements. This might put things in context. You can't believe a word she says. I don't think you understand her act. It's not arbitrary humor like Conan does. She's more over-the-top satire. So, yes, I guess it's "ridiculous." But that's what comedy is, generally speaking. Oh, and she also mentions bedwetting in her movie, "Jesus is Magic." No punchline or anything. Just an observation of what may have motivated her to become a comedian in the first place -- embarrassment and learning to laugh it off.
huggiesman Posted March 28, 2007 Posted March 28, 2007 She references being a bedwetter frequently in her comedy; it's part of her shtick. I don't know whether there's any truth to it, or if it even matters. Her boyfriend is Jimmy Kimmel, if that gives you any idea of what her home life must be like.
