"Because they all come from broken homes. Some are abused, others neglected. But they all have the same unsatisfied hunger for love and affection. And that's really what this program is about. Love."

"There are no bad people in the world. Just people who didn't get enough love growing up. Some kids come here because they were troublemakers and needed a gentle, loving hand to guide them back to the straight and narrow. Others--like you--come here for healing."

She hands you a bottle. "Here, you can start on your bedtime bottle while I finish your diaper change."

You're about half way done with the bottle before Jennifer finishes your diaper change. Then she holds your bottle for you with one hand and plays with your hair with the other, smiling down at you until you finish.

Once you finish she helps you put one your onesie and puts you in your crib. "Anything else I can do to help you sleep, baby?"

"Good. Well, the baby monitor is on if you suddenly wake up in pain or something. Otherwise just relax until someone comes to get you in the morning." She gives you a kiss. "I love you very much, Amber."
