She looks out the window. "Are we allowed to play outside?"

yes but only till sunset

"Well it looks like we have a few minutes of daylight left at least. Should we try? We don't have to if you don't want to."

You go downstairs and Sam offers to watch you while you play. He takes you both outside.

we go out to play

"SWINGS!" she runs toward the swingset in uncharacteristically childlike glee.

She starts swinging on the swing set, looking like she's really having fun for the first time since being here.

i smile abd get on the swings

"I haven't played on swings in years! Wooooooo!" She squeals in delight as she starts to go higher.

we play till it starts to get dark

About 10 minutes after you started playing Sam calls you back in.

"Awww, I was finally having fun!" She pouts.

we go in

Sam tells you Dinner will be ready in about 20 minutes, so you're free to do whatever you want until then.

On the way to the playroom you bump into Aaron. "Oh, hey girls! You must be Britney, right? Pleased to meet you." He sticks his hand out for her to shake.

She doesn't move. "I uhh..." she looks like a deer caught in a headlight.
