Summary: Alicia, 20 years old, finds her long lost half-sister, 10 by doing submitting an DNA test. Their mother was dead at that time (Suzy was living with her grandparent), so Alicia takes he sister under her wing and makes up for the years that was lost by taking her to live with her

Alicia finally rang the doorbell after ten minutes of straightening herself up. There didn't seem to any better way to do this anyway.

Suzy's ears perked at the noise of the doorbell ringing. Who would be at her place this late at night? Stranger danger? No,

"Oh, um, I'm here to talk to grandmother," she said. "Is she not here now?"

Suzy felt guilty for turning this unknown girl away. She was strong, but she also had a good heart. Not only that, something about this girl made her felt...connected. There was no explaining it. The young girl read the sad expression

Suzy was frustrated. She had so many questions that she couldn't get at that moment. It wasn't fair. Nothing was fair about this situation. "I hate school." She rolled her eyes. The young girl was about to say something else until she heard her grandma's voice coming from the doorway.

Alicia turned and looked at her grandmother.

"Oh, um..., I'm sorry," she said.

At first glance, the grandma had no idea who this young lady was, but she seemed sincere. Or she was a really good actor. She wasn't quite convinced, either way. She took the photo while she gave Alicia an suspicious expression. After glancing down at the photo, the older women felt her jaw slightly drop. She looked back up with a lump in her throat. It was difficult to speak. But there was only one real way to find out who this girl really was. "A-alicia has a scar on the side of her neck." Grandma remember when and how it happened. If this girl had the exact scar, Only then would she be convinced.

Alicia didn't know if grandma knew about the scar though. She had not even known how she got it.

Grandma was unsure how she got all this information. There wasn't any other way she could've. But it has been so long, it was difficult to believe her granddaughter would just show up out of nowhere like this. The older women took a deep breath and walked slowly up to the younger girl. Then she noticed the scar Alicia received when she was at a very young age, no way Alicia would remember how or why, nor does the grandma want to talk about it. All that mattered was was that she was her granddaughter. The grandma embraced Alicia and began to tear up herself.

"To tell the truth, I had forgotten I had a sister too, because, well you were about three I think when we separated, and I was about thirteen.
