Tour Bus Baby (private me & Danny)

[Danny]

I nod as I lead him out to the car "Yes he's going to live here with you and your mommy and daddy"

"Yay! Let's go"

He runs for the car

[Danny]

I laugh and gets him in his car seat and we drive to the daycare.  

I sigh and think that what Mark and Cam are doing could be me and Rachel in a few years.

Lisa greets you

"Congratulations. I hear you're taking over for Mark and Camille. What a nice thing to do.

I'll find some extra help in the afternoons. It's ok."

[Danny]

Dan nods "it's only temporarily so I'll still be here in the morning to help with snack time and play time"

[bigbabymikey1062]

"Dan, it's ok. I know you guys are out here this summer to follow your dreams.

I can do it. I appreciate your help. I'll be fine, really. Riley will be my special helper"

[Danny]

Dan nods "only if you're okay with me going. I've only been here one day and already it seems like I'm just abandoning you. I'm sure you'll find someone else. The kids are well behaved and there's a good schedule so all good in my eyes"

"It's fine. Mark and Camille need the help. The show must go on.

Maybe you can bring the kids over to see the studio"

[Danny]

"They should be fine with the new baby, I know the show will take up a lot of time. but I will be here when I can I promise"

"I can check with the studio and see if they can take the kids on a tour, they might enjoy it"

Lisa starts assembling the kids for movie time.

Halfway through Riley goes towards the bathroom without asking

[Danny]

I help Lisa with the kids and notice one is missing

"I think Riley has wandered off. I'll go and find him" I say as I go to the boys bathroom

Riley is outside the stall crying

"I didn't make it to the potty on time. I sorry"

[Danny]

I crouch down and hugs him "Hey it's okay buddy, I am not mad, accidents happen. You've been doing really well. What happened? Did you pee or poop?"

"I pee"

His pants are wet and there's a small puddle on the floor

[Danny]

Dan nods and helps you into the stall "Can you sit on the toilet and try and pee while I get your spare pants and underwear?" I ask Riley as I get some paper towels to get the pee cleaned up and think about putting him in a pull up.

"Ok"

Riley dries his tears and sits on the potty.

Lisa: "how did it go?"

[Danny]

I look at Lisa "Riley had an accident, so I might put him back in pull ups, what do you think? I don't want to upset him even more though"

"All I have are girl pull ups. I'm not sure if he would want those.

Put him back in underwear. Show him that we believe in him.

Cleaning supplies are in the restroom. His extra clothes are on the shelf with his name on it"

[Danny]

"I don't think he would either. If he has another accident then I may have to, but i am sure his dad packed some pull ups for him. But he deserves one more chance"

"Dan, pull ups shouldn't be a punitive measure. If Riley is trying to use the potty, then we should reward him.

I only like to see pull ups for nap time and long trips. His mom packed him 3 pairs of underwear and spare pants. He'll be fine. Now go, he probably needs you about now"

[Danny]

"Ah OK, that makes sense, sorry, I am still quite new to all of this potty training stuff. I'll go and see if he's okay"

I take his spare underwear a pack of wipes and his spare pants and goes to see him.

I knock on the stall door "Riley its Dan Dan" I open the door "Do you need help wiping? I am sure you can do it though"

Riley takes a baby wipe and isn't sure what to do with.

 

He's still crying.

 

"Does this mean I'm a baby like brother?"

 

 

[Danny]

Looks at him "of course you're not a baby. It's just an accident. we can keep this between us if you don't want your mom and dad to know. You're not a baby. Do you need me to help? You just need to wipe your pee pee so you don't get wee in your new underwear"

He stops crying

"Ok"

He takes off his old pants and underwear

[Danny]

I get some wipes out of the packet and hands them to you "you're a big boy. You don't need help with this bit"
