Lisa overhears.

"Congratulations. Yes, go."

[Danny]

*back on phone*

"mark, we're coming"

I look at Lisa "Can you watch Emily? I will let Rachel know that she needs to be picked up and I will say what's happened"

I pick up Riley and the diaper bag and we head to the car

I place him in his car seat and I drive us to the hospital

"Sure. Rachel will pick her up. Don't worry. Everything is handled"

[Danny]

I drive us to the hospital and takes Riley inside to where Mark and Camille are "hey, we're here" I put Riley down

Cam hugs you from the bed.

"Hi Dan.


Riley, come sit down. Do you want to hold the baby?"

Riley: "yes"

[Danny]

I smile "aww, how adorable" I say as I watch Camille hand the baby to Riley "Big brother Riley"

*hugs Cam

"hey, how are you feeling?"

(did she have a boy or girl?)

"Riley sit down so you can hold your baby brother"

The baby looks at Riley

[Danny]

I smile "aww what a gorgeous little boy" I say to you

"Riley, you wanna say hi to your brother?"

I think to myself that Riley wanted a sister but don't say that to Camille and Mark

Riley: "Hi Riley 2"

He kisses him on the head

[Danny]

Dan smiles "Aww" I look at Cam and Mark

"have you thought about any names yet? I think Riley has..."

Cam laughs

 

"Yes, we thought of a name"

 

She looks at Riley

 

 

"Although Riley 2 sounds great. I think we're going to go with Benjamin"

 

Mark sighs

 

"But Riley 2 is so cool. Can I hold him, little guy?"

 

He takes the baby from Riley

[Danny]

Dan smiles and watches as they all cuddle together

"I'll leave you guys too it" I say as I cuddle Riley and shake Marks hand and kiss Cam

Mark: "No stay, bro. You're family.

Besides my mom is coming and I need a buffer"

[Danny]

Looks at you confused

(sorry, I don't know what a buffer is)

"You need a ride back?"

"You know like when old ladies talk a bunch?

A buffer is the guy who takes on some of the conversation.

Let's go. I think Cam needs to get some rest"

[Danny]

I nod "I'll do my best but I can't promise I will be any good mate"

I smile and lets you take Riley

"It's ok. My mom likes you"

We get in the car and drive back home


Joe, Emily, and Rachel meet us at the door

Rachel hugs you: "Congratulations! How's the baby?"

[Danny]

Dan smiles "Really? I try my best, but its hard to know what to say sometimes"

We arrive home and I see everyone waiting "Mother and baby are doing fine, and they've agreed on a name. Well, I think RIley wanted another Riley, but they've chosen something between them"

"Aww. I'm sure Riley will be fine. Glad baby is ok. I'll go see him tommorow"


Joe: "Dan I found a job for you.
There is an opening voicing the cartoon while Mark and Cam are out with the baby.
It's part time so you can still work at the day care. Are you interested?"

[Danny]

Dan looks surprised and smiles "Yeah! Sure, that would be great. I would love to. Thanks Joe"

"Okay I'll set it up. They only need you part time. You can go in the afternoons after daycare"

The next morning Mark gets Riley ready for school.

"Dan can you take him? I have to get everything ready for Cam when she gets home"

[Danny]

Dan nods "Yeah that sounds great. I'll let Lisa know"

Next morning

Everyone gets ready for work and school and I hear Mark "Yeah of course. Riley, do you need to go potty before we go?"

"No. Daddy tooked me. Are we seeing baby today?"

[Danny]

I look at Mark

"Yes your daddy is hoping your mommy and your brother can come home today"

"Baby gonna live here? He lives at the hopsickle"
