Tour Bus Baby (private me & Danny)

"Yes, Mr. Dan.

Let's go"

[Danny]

"I gotta wait for Riley. You can call me Danny or unkie Dan" I say as I smile at her

"Ok

*she laughs*

Unkie Dan"

Riley comes out. He hugs Emmy

[Danny]

Looks at Riley "did you go pee on the potty?"

"I did. And I flushed too"

[Danny]

Smiles at him "you're a clever boy.  Are you nice and clean or do I need to check just to be sure"

"I'm clean. Can we go? I don't wanna miss circle time"

[Danny]

I nod "okay you two. Let's get your shoes on and get to daycare "

Their shoes are by the door.

Riley sees Emily's pink shoes

"I want shoes like her"

[Danny]

Dan just ignored this comment "come on Riley. Get your shoes on please"

I help them both get their shoes and jackets on and I make sure I have their back packs with their lunches in. 

We head out to the car and I help them into their car seats.

We get to the daycare.

The teacher comes out.

"Hi. I'm Lisa. You must be Dan. My new volunteer"

She squats down to the kids

"And this must be Riley and Emily. I've heard so much about you.

Come on down to our room"

[Danny]

Dan smiled nervously "yeah that's me. Guys can you say hi to Miss Lisa?" I say as I hold their hands and let them go as I put their bags away 

We all follow Lisa.  

(How did riley know about circle time? It can't be his first day?)

We walk down to the room.

"This is our 2 year old class. We have 5 toddlers in here"

She introduces the 3 kids sitting on the rug.

"This is Zack, Hailey and Leo. Everyone this is teacher Dan, Riley and Emily"

the kids all say hi

(He had it at a different school)

[Danny]

Dan smiles as Riley and Emily join the group and I go and sit with the teacher "so what's going on here. What happens now?"

"Song time. It's a big hit with the kids.
Then potty time and a morning snack.

I think your two are the only ones who will use the potty. Maybe they can help others"

[Danny]

Dan looks at her "Well I hope they still do. I just hope having a baby at home won't affect them using the potty"

All the children gather for song time.

Lisa: "You might know this one, sing along Dan"

She brings out a guitar and sings a Mark and Danny song

[Danny]

Dan smiles as she plays the song and I start singing it.

The kids clap.

Lisa: "Now it's potty time. Can you escort the boys? Zack and Leo need help getting their diapers off"

[Danny]

Dan nods "come on boys. Let's go get you guys to the bathroom" 

Leads them to the boys bathroom

"We usually have them sit on the potty for 2 minutes each hour or 2. You'll find all the changing supplies on the table.

Zack might need to be changed"

Zack goes straight for the potty and sits on it with all his clothes on

[Danny]

Dan nods as he goes with the boys and sees Zack 

"Buddy you need to take your diaper off first. Or do you need changing?"

He doesn't say anything.

His wet diaper sticks out from his shorts.

Riley: "does he need help?"

[Danny]

I look at Riley "I just need to change him. He's soaked his diaper. Zack I gotta change you buddy"

I help Riley and Leo onto their potties first and gets the changing table ready

Zack lays on the changing table and giggles.

Leo poops in the tiny toilet
