I nod "now I can see why Mark wants Riley potty trained. He doesn't want two lots of stinky diapers. Well. Is it a boy or a girl? We need to get blue for a boy or pink for a girl"

Joe looks awkwardly

"Right. They don't know yet. Maybe get both"

[Danny]

Looks at you "they don't know? Are they waiting until the birth? I'll get a little toy for the baby. Like a teddy bear maybe?" 

[bigbabymikey1062]

"Maybe just buy a bunch of neutral stuff. I asked you because you have a good eye for this kind of thing"

[Danny]

I nod and smile "sure. Maybe I could take Riley and he can choose something? Does he know he's going to be a big brother?" 

[bigbabymikey1062]

"Sure. I guess that would be ok. I'm not sure if he knows yet"

[Danny]

"Do you think he should know? Is this the reason why his dad wants him potty trained? Because I think Riley prefers his diapers to the potty" 

[bigbabymikey1062]

"Yes I think we should try to tell him.
He's been doing well on the potty.

It doesn't have anything to do with Mark.
It was my sister's idea to start potty training him. She can be kind of overbearing"

[Danny]

"He is doing well but I know he prefers his diapers. But I think all toddlers do as they get used to their diapers as their toilet. I can understand why they want to train him"

"Have you thought about talking them? I mean you do spend a lot of time with him.

I can tell Mark doesn't care either way.

But he is going to be 2 soon. Maybe it's time"

[Danny]

"He's still young. Maybe wait a few more months. Although he might see Emily potty training and doesn't want to be left out"

"Exactly. Maybe he can help her"

[Danny]

Looks at you confused "they can train together. It might work. She can help Riley?" 

[bigbabymikey1062]

"Sure. Help each other"

[Danny]

Smiles and nods "I think Riley is taking a nap so I don't want to wake him"

[Danny]

Nods and smiles "it's fine.  I'm happy to help"

Riley starts to wake from his nap. His pull up is wet

[Danny]

I hear Riley and go over to him "hey buddy. You had a good nap?"

[bigbabymikey1062]

"Yes. Where daddy go?"

[Danny]

"Hes still here. Do you want him to change you?. You wet your pullup"

[bigbabymikey1062]

"Daddy went bye-bye.
Take up up off pwease"

[Danny]

"Do you want a diaper or a pull up? I am taking you to the shops. We need to buy some things. Your daddy needs to tell you something very special "

"New up up"

[Danny]

I get a new pull up on Riley "There we go. All ready to go the shops"
