Emily tries to take her diaper off

Emily lays of the changing table and looks around.

Rachel: "Is everything ok in there? Do you need help?"

[Danny]

Looks at Rachel "I just think she wants to be changed quickly. Maybe this is a sign she's ready to potty train?"

"We're trying. She sits on the potty sometimes, but not all the time.

Are you sure you're ok? You've been in there for a while"

[Danny]

Wipes her bottom "everything is fine. She's just a little more messy then I expected so it's gonna take a lot of wipes"

Emily tries to get up from the changing table

[Danny]

"Hang on honey I just got to wipe your bottom and get a fresh pamper on you. Can you keep still please for your uncle Dan Dan?"

Emily doesn't talk. She just lays back down

[Danny]

I wipe her butt and gags a little and tries to make her giggle by tickling her tummy and gets a fresh diaper ready. 

"You're a cutie aren't you. Maybe you're ready to use the potty?"

Emily: "Potty? What dat?"

[Danny]

"Its where girls who don't like the feel of their stinky diapers go wee wee and poopy" 

[bigbabymikey1062]

"Wee Wee and Poopy! Wee Wee and Poopy!"

She repeats

[Danny]

Smiles "do you still want to be in diapers? Or are you a big girl and want to use the potty? You can still wear diapers but you'll have to tell your mama when you gotta go potty"

She looks on in silence.

Rachel comes to get her

"Thanks for taking care of her. I think she's still a little young. Especially without seeing what we're talking about. These are all just word to her"

[Danny]

I smile "it was no bother. She's a little angel. I understand. But she doesn't seem to like the feel of a dirty diaper that's all.  But you're her mom and you know best. It's not for me to say"

"Thanks. I try to show her around the bathroom but I think she can't relate cause I'm so big.

 

Maybe if Riley showed her she would be interested"

 

 

 

 

[Danny]

Dan nods "that's a good idea. Riley is partly potty training but we can try and train them together"

"That's good. He's so cute"

[Danny]

I smile "Emily is adorable.  She's got such a cute smile" I say as I tickle her and hands her back to her mommy.

We arrive at our destination, Mark's hometown. Washington, DC.

 

As you get off the bus, Joe pulls you to the side

 

"Hey Dan, this is our last stop. This is also where Mark is from. We usually throw some good natured fun his way. Are you ready?

 

First his girlfriend is coming back. So I need you to run down some baby stuff. Can you? Here's some money"

 

 

[Danny]

Looks at you confused "you mean Rileys mom? I thought he was staying with us until the end of the tour? Plus Emily needs a friend while we're playing at our concert.  

"You want more baby stuff?"

"You remember Mark's girlfriend Camille? She's expecting. And pretty far along.
Riley is staying with us.
Yes. I haven't had time to shop for a baby gift. And I'll be busy today. Please"
