"I'm going to Phoenix to visit my friend. What about you guys?"

"Oh we are taking this little guy back to his mom. Its a long story, Mark? Why don't you tell Tia what happened" I smile as

"No, Dan. That's all she needs to know"

Tia: "Thank you, Dan. You're such a gentleman"

[Danny]

Smiles at Tia as we chat about work and the band.

"Basically, a few years ago, Mark was with a girl, and they had a one night stand, resulting in a pregnancy, which Mark knew nothing about, and she gave the baby up for adoption, and the mom is the sister of our band manager" Looks at Mark "she was going to find out eventually"

"But Riley's adopted mom adores Riley, and she is really good with Mark getting to know his son. I would love that opportunity one day, to be a dad" Smiles at Tia "Would you like to go for dinner somewhere tonight. I'll pay" I smile.

I stand up and grab Dan.

"Then let her find out eventually. If word gets out about this, our careers will be ruined. We sing bubble gum pop to little kids. They don't need to picture me as a father"

Tia: "I'd love to go out with you.
Mark it's so cool that you're a dad.
It's so mature.

And I love you guys as a band. Much better than when you were with that jerk"

[Danny]

I smile and look at Mark "Okay, but don't come to me if it doesn't end well. if I am honest with you, I think Tia really likes me. Do you think I should ask her out on a proper date?"

"Umm.. yeah. Don't worry about the distance. I think we're going to be spending a lot of time in Phoenix.

[Danny]

"You mean like that guy on baywatch used to do. David Whatshisname?"" I sweep my hair to the side and she giggles as I take Riley back from her and let's him nap.

Tia: "Sure. Can we go earlier? My friend and I are going to the movies later.

[Danny]

Hands Riley to mark "it shouldn't get so attached. He's not my kid"

Tia: "No it's a girl. We're going to play midnight golf"

Mark: "Why don't you take her out this afternoon? I'll do the hand off. We have to get back"

[Danny]

Looks at you "I'll come pick you up around 3?" Smiles and heads back with Mark as I take her phone number and smile

Tia: "Sounds good"

[Danny]

Dan heads over to him "hey everything okay? Where's carol? Try calling Joe"

Mark calls Carol's cell phone.

[Danny]

I get a text from Tia "see you soon xx"

"Thanks Mark. Give carol my best and tell her Riley has been perfect"

"I will"
I drop Dan off.

I go to the hospital and find Carol's room.
She greets us.

Riley runs up to her and gives her a big hug.
"Mommy"

Dan meets Tia for their date. They talk before their food comes

[Danny]

The date goes really well and they get on really well.

Mark and Riley stay with Carol for about an hour.
They say their goodbyes.

Mark texts you that he's outside

[Danny]

I pay for the meal and we head out.

"Hey, D.

[Danny]

Looks a little surprised to see Riley still.

[bigbabymikey1062]

"Carol went back in the hospital today. She can't keep Riley. He's staying with us until she gets out"

We drop the car off and get on the plane.

"The flight's sold out. We're gonna have to hold Riley"

[Danny]

I nod "okay. So what do we do now? Are we staying at Carols?"

[bigbabymikey1062]

"Nope. Nobody's staying at Carol's. We'll see her later"

The plane takes off. Riley gets a little fussy so Mark takes him to walk up and down the aisles.
