I sit at the table listening to music and start to tap my hand on the table in rhythm with the music. I wait gor my lunch wondering whag im having so instead of waiting i ask "dad what am i having for lunch."

"I am making some chicken nuggets, fries, and corn for you, honey.

"So what are the rules for the next 3 days and i dont like corn dad and ii dont need to go to the toilet." Daisy says to him while looking at him from the table.

Ralph came back with her lunch and put it on the table, but then he helped her stand up.

"I dont need to go to the toilet dad." I finish washing my hands then i dry them with the hand towel.

I eat my lunch with a knife and fork just like i normally would.

Ralph watched carefully waiting for the right chance to ban her from using a knife, but he figured he should find some reasonable reason first, so he watched.

I cut the chicken nuggets with my knife and fork. I eat while you watch me while you eat your own lunch.

Once she had eaten lunch, Ralph took her to the kitchen sink and put a chair by the sink like he did when she was little, and he started to wash the dishes while he carefully handed her plates, and spoons so she could dry them.

*sits on the couch staring into mid space not taking notice that the tv is on.

Ralph sighed willing for her to have to pee, and to be too proud to ask him to take her, until it was too late, but he was sure she wouldn't wait that long.
