Ralph's heart melted, and he sighed.

[Yuffie]

Alice buried her face into Ralph's chest and let out a little sniffle. It all felt so unreal. She hadn't met a single person for so long and now she was clinging with both hands to Ralph's shirt, scared that it was just a dream and if she let go she would wake up all alone again.

She was still clinging to him when the food was finished, even then reluctant to let go, even though she was so hungry.

Ralph picked her up and carried her to the table and gently put her into a chair.

[Yuffie]

Alice let out a little whimper again when Ralph picked her up and she clung tightly to him while he carried her over to the chair.

She curled up on the chair and hugged her knees to her chest as she watched him walk off to get the food then gave him a weak smile when he came back with it. "O-okay Ralph." she replied meekly and nodded before she looked down at her food and grabbed the spoon awkardly and tried her best to use it to eat.

She spilled a little on the table and got some around her mouth as she started eating eagerly. It was the first time she had warm food in so long!

"You are quite welcome," Ralph smiled back taking her hand with her spoon in his, and helping her to steady it, get some more food, and bring it to her mouth to chew on."

[Yuffie]

Alice blushed a little when Ralph started to help her eat but she was so hungry so she didn't care.

The girl closed her eyes as she thought back, trying to remember how long it had been... but she wasn't sure anymore so she just shrugged a little.

Ralph smiled down at her.

[Yuffie]

Alice opened her mouth and chewed slowly on the food as she pondered. This had all gone so fast. Yesterday she would've loved the idea of someone finding her and taking her in. So why was she so scared today when it finally happened?

She curled up on the chair, swallowed then smiled a little. It did feel nice when he held her like this. She felt secure and warmth like she hadn't felt in a very long time.

After Ralph had put the rest of her food in her mouth, he got a wash cloth, turned her to face him, and wiped her face off.

[Yuffie]

Alice scrunched up her face a little when Ralph wiped her off then let out a little 'eep' when he picked her up. She clung to him as usual when he carried her then let go once she put her down on the potty.

She looked down at the porcelain then back up to Ralph with her head tilted a bit to the side. She hadn't been on a toilet for a long time and now it just felt strange for some reason...

"Oh, well, maybe later," Ralph said cheerfully.

[Yuffie]

Alice nodded sweetly and smiled up at Ralph when he picked her up. Then she winced a little as she felt her feet sink down into the warm water but quickly adjusted.

She closed her eyes and let out a content sigh as she leaned against the rim of the tub. She hugged her legs to her chest again and slowly her eyes fluttered open and she smiled happily up at Ralph.

Ralph smiled at the cute little one, and started to wash her hair.

[Yuffie]

Alice stayed relaxed, almost looking like she were half asleep as Ralph scrubbed her clean from the all the dirt that had built up from her life in the forest.

That is, until she let out a yelp when Ralph started to wash her chest and her privates. She squirmed shyly while blushing brightly. "I s-swim in the r-river all the time." she attempted to argue as she tried to wriggle away but to no avail and instead let out another little 'eep!' when Ralph started to wash her little bum.

[Ishigreensa]

"I know," Ralph said when she complained of being cold.

[Yuffie]

The girl quickly wrapped the blanket tightly around herself, then looked up curiously at what Ralph was doing.

Then she felt him lifting her bum up and sliding under some cloth, then having it folded up over her. Alice looked down at the makeshift diaper and giggled at how silly it looked to her.

[Ishigreensa]

"We have to go get you some clothes," Ralph replied.

[Yuffie]

"...oh, okay." Alice replied meekly and curled up on the seat, hugging her knees to her chest like normal.

She leaned her cheek against the cold glass of the passenger-window and glanced out as the car started moving. Then her eyes widened. She had forgot how fast cars went.

Ralph let her hug his arm most of the ride, but when he got to town, he needed his hand free to better control the vehicle.

[Yuffie]

Alice smiled innocently up at Ralph as she were put in the cart where she quickly made herself comfortable.

But she had forgotten how big and loud everything was in the city. There were cars running in the parking lot and people walking around all over... and even more inside the store. Alice started to notice that people were starting to notice her sitting in the cart. But why were they looking at her?

[Ishigreensa]

"Well, you need some shirts or blouses and maybe some skirts and jeans," he started.

[Yuffie]

Alice blushed shyly and nodded obediently, but she didn't notice herself that she was starting to squirm a little where she sat.

Then her eyes widened. She remembered ice cream.

[Ishigreensa]

Ralph smiled when he noticed how excited she had gotten.

[Yuffie]

Alice bit her lip nervously, looking like a confused and scared little animal when Ralph picked her up and carried her towards the bathrooms. "I'm sorry.." she whispered as she were clinging to Ralph with both her arms and legs and averting the looks from all onlookers.

[Ishigreensa]

"Of course we can," Ralph said noticing her tear.
