Sitting here, in the dark. I feel alone. I feel every smile is just a cover. I look at my body and just feel so inadequate. How could anyone want this? I see the scars on my wrists and arms as battles lost. Every curve on my body as ugly as the next.

You know, it is SO difficult to see you the ways other see you. You are your own worst critic. Everyone struggles with that, even down to something as basic as "loving yourself". But, you are loved. By many, many people around you. You are strong, you are brave, no matter what you tell yourself or what others tell you. I don't know what you are struggling with, but I know that you are so strong for struggling with it in the first place. Don't feel ashamed for sharing this post with us; don't feel judged. It took alot for you just to write that and share that with us.
