Making Plastic Pants Soft Again?

Does any body know how to make plastic pants that are starting to get hard and brittle soft again?

If they are getting hard you must be washing them with the wrong stuff, anything with oil in it will cause plastic pants to get hard, you could also be getting baby oil on them from your hands when you diaper up.

If you are using just bar soap to wash your pants see what is in it, the only thing I can think or to make them soft is warmth like a short time in a dryer on low but that is just temporary.

Are they getting brittle all over, or just in the middle of the front side?

There is often enough oil in your skin and hands to make plastic brittle

over time... I'll let you figure out how that makes plastic pants brittle

in the front.
