Becoming Allergic To Certain Brand

Well i was wondering if anyone has all of a sudden become allergic to a certain type of diaper? i got a little rash for the first time and getting it when i where a certain brand lately. don't know if it could be that or the powder! any feedback would be nice cause i have been using the same brand for years.

It could happen! I remember I hadn't used Attends in a while and then when I bought a bag again, they kept giving me a rash. The manufacturers might make some subtle change to their materials and that could be the causative agent. Just try some other brand for a while and see if it still gives you a rash.

After using the USA Tena briefs for about 2 years back around 2002-2003, I started getting very bad rashes and worse on my bum, bad enough that I had to go to a doctor. I switched brands, and things improved almost immediately. I think you're right that such things can happen. Whether it's a change in manufacturing or sensitivity through prolonged exposure I'm not sure.

i am not alleric to any brands, but i do notice depends are the only diaper that don't reduce odor, they smell terrible after 1 hour
