fieldmouse2011 Posted July 24, 2010 Share Posted July 24, 2010 Yes, I want to talk tapes here and how bad they are on TENA compared to other nappies. So I've been on TENA SLIPS for years and then because I moved to a different county, the NHS for that county use a different brand, in this case, Hartmann's... ...what a difference! As normal, there are two tapes each side [top and bottom] and the one tape sticks onto a pad beneath which itself is attached to the nappy. I can even get a much better adjustment and fit this way. So with TENA, the tapes stick straight onto the pad, which causes rips and tears when you change, and they aren't brilliant at sticking on in the first place. Wish I could morph the two, a TENA nappy with Hartmann's tape system would be the perfect model. Anyone else have any issues on tapes with other brands? Link to comment
