turtlepins
I was a minister for many years, until I had my mental breakdown. Retirement seemed best at the time, since I was no good to anyone. It took three years to come out of that, and I'm still pretty fragile. Our best friends daughter begged me to do her wedding, and tomorrow I'm heading out to the coast to do an outdoor wedding. That means two nights in a motel, without Mommy because she's on the East Coast with our daughter. I've already called the hotel and given them a heads up about my condition (incontinence) and asked to be close to the laundry facility if possible. The bride is a nurse at my medical clinic so she knows pretty much everything. Her parents are best friends and so I'm in good company. I'm just afraid to be away from the comfort and security of home, and be on my own in a strange room. I'll spend lots of time in here! 1 Link to comment
