I'm not from Halifax, but rather about 3 hours away. It's a nice city - the waterfront is usually quite nice. The citadel is kinda cool too, as are the public gardens on Spring garden road. They also have a casino, if you're into that sort of thing. All of these things are within walking distance if you're staying downtown. Have fun! Link to comment
BBoy Posted September 29, 2009 Share Posted September 29, 2009 If you have a car try driving the highway along the coast. To the north is Lunenburg, a UNESCO world hearitage site. To the south is towards Peggy's Cove, one of the prettiest areas of the world. If you like the bar scene go to The Seahorse. It's in the downtown core where all the bars are located.
